135 cap > dear god no. Rates would have to be massive for that to be even close to appealing. Then once you get past that skill balance is a massive issue at 120+. If you thought DD was bad before, 3 hit DD is even worse.
If they make it not suck terribly, maybe, but it's going to need some serious tweaking.


They should add someone to their team who knows English too. >.> So much bad grammar in the screenshots. >.<

100 almost definitely, unless the majority of people from here go 90. I like being able to play on par with most euros, besides rogues/wars/locks, and 100 cap is really the only cap chins can do that on.

Been getting my timing back for rapidly chaining glavie skills (no, I don't exchange glitch) so I can faceroll people with that again.

I'll be on Infinity PvP sometime tonight if you want to try some builds with the npc sets.

I'm leaning on the 100 cap shard. From what I'm seeing on the forums we'll probably be locked in Samarkand when it comes to grinding. 80 would be Jang, 90 would be DW, 100 would be Sama, and 110 is Alex.
Ong parties for krall elixir drops possibly. :sohappy:

Okay, so 100 it is. I don't mind 100, how ever the staffs aren't exactly the best looking there is.
Rawr, Toast. Do you guys plan on starting when the server goes live? Or you'll just start the next day?

Just incase use wanted to meet up and start right away.

The owners said it should be up within a week.
Currently I work 6 days a week on 2nd shift so my play time will be a bit limited, but I'll start on launch day or the day after.

Classes might interfere with my schedule, so assume I'll be on the day after it launches. I'll make a post with my name whenever I join.
Just saw the map screenshot. Jeez, they figured out how to edit in forts, must have some smart coders. In all likelihood I'll end up having one guy for drop, unique, farming parties, probably a war, maybe a wiz and then my glavier for normal pvp, FW and GW and all those kinds of things. Might help for ya'll others to put what you'll be going as (parties and otherwise, if it differs like mine), so we can kinda figure out our party farming setup doodad.

@Rawr: Toast on Infinity (how original, I know), send me a message on there if I'm not on the next time you are.

-- Do you guys have any plans for a guild? since its 20 per guild we could also make a small srf guild and recruit some others i guess? unless use have plans to join other guilds.

That's probably our best bet. I assume that most of the guilds will be competent, but since they did post it on epvp, were still going to have make sure we aren't getting idiots, if epvp has a lot of anything, it's idiots. Eg; the guy who was saying their thread should be closed because the server isn't out.

Yeah, then we can join some English speaking union. LOL that guy and me were arguing, he wants it to close but he will play on the server. People like this shouldn't be able to live.

Any idea who would go GM? I personally don't like being it so you or Rawr?

Stupidity amazes me sometimes. I got told yesterday I didn't have any "reading compensation", and then got told that comprehension > compensation is a small mistake. /facewall

I don't mind. If nobody else wants to then yeah I can.
I'm sure you remember the whole thing with me and Bisu and a couple SD members a little after I took over Yakuza on Salvation, got some pretty good laughs from that bunch of shenanigans. Lets hope for no drama like that here.

Yeah, i remember that. I actually joined Yakuza for a bit with Lihua, it was a good guild. But yeah, if you're up for it then i am more then happy for you to be the leader.

Yeah, i guess we won't all be online everyday, unless it gets as fun as Salvation which i highly doubt will ever happen again.

One thing that has been in my mind this entire time is how do they have so much players playing? I remember they said they had 900+ on OverLimit (legit) which is some what believable.

But to spread out 4 caps and another server is like o.o wow.

Advertising, unique features, well known people advertising it, stuff like that.

Honestly I've never even heard of this server, granted I don't check any other forums besides this one for Silkroad stuff, but I've never heard it mentioned anywhere.
Two things come to mind:
1. Money goes a long way, and lack of it can kill a server. Salvation was probably taking a big toll on Fly's income, whereas maybe that guy has boatloads of it to toss around for advertising.
2. Their full of crap. My money is going on this one, PlaySRO (now Seidenkraft) is the only server I know to reach that many players, and so many of them are bots.

Yeah i guess so.

I have heard of OverLimit before and was thought that the GM's were turks and just retards in general, i remember seeing them trolling on a new server opening, it was TrollRoad and they just making smart ass remarks about it, lol.

tbh i always thought Salvation had good funding it just died because people didn't know the edits Fly made, i personally loved Salvation for everything it had except for instant cap, even though my last character was from the instant cap i still would of liked to level my self to 70 and it only took 3 days or less to cap.

I wish Fly would bring it back >_< Just start everything from beginning.
Oh well, i like how this server is bot free and with this amount of people, it'll make grinding/fw/fgw more fun.

I'm thinking 100 cap personally. Just hope there will be some chinese characters out there, don't really feel like playing an euro character. Want a Force glaive for PvP and a S/S for grinding. :sohappy:

I'd opt for GM, however, I feel it'd be best suited for somebody who will be online more.

About GM: Even if my classes keep me really busy occasionally, I should always be able to check in at least once a day and make sure all is well. Unless I have 2-3-4 papers to write or something.

Well since you can make 4 characters an account why not just make a character for every cap, that way, where ever there is action at the time, thats the character you long on to.
