SEMTEX PRO STAFF.
I'm confused whether to go cleric or bard. I guess i'll go cleric even though it will be harder to PvP but after my wizard i'll make my s/s.


Off Topic - i kept reading some stuff on epvp, how come it's so hard to have a private server of ksro? o.o it's like if you try to make a server or something, then joymax will take you to jail? LOL.

Rawr, i remember Haze saying it'll either fail or just not work. But it won't go above 12.

It'll fail or be destroyed 100% of the time. I think Adv Elixirs work on a percent basis, probably like (Alch rate * Some random really high percent) = guaranteed success. 0 * 5000 is still 0.

My guess is that yeah, the korean Joymax has their files locked down pretty well. Considering they get all the newest things first, I can kinda understand why.

Yeah. What's so special about ksro private servers anyway? Is it because of all the new content or?
Toast. Do you think if joymax had a wipe of everything and began silkroad at the very start like in 2006 that players would come back? I've always been curious if people would come back and all this shit.

Newest features first, the korean team strangely enough promotes a boring grindy game less, so sometimes there are extra features to promote speedier leveling, stuff like that.

No. We all know by now they would just screw it up again. Once a company knows they can make craploads of money off of something, they aren't going to quit.

Example 1: CoD; started out with pretty good potential, but now look at it, it's the same game reskinned every single time.
Example 2: Apple. Yes, Apple. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. iPhone. Nuff said.

I hope so, I doubt I'll ever reach +12 but hopefully I won't get pwned as hard now. :p

I think if JM did a wipe everybody would leave, if they started a fresh server done right[banning bots, cheaper item mall, no insane exp/sp requirements] they would get a ton of players. Whether or not they would stay would depend on if JM would take the greedy route or not.

It's really hard to get kSRO server files since they secured their hosts pretty well. But, as you all know, nothing is completely safe on the internet.
