It's not greed. I spend alot of money on this game, too. Not because I wan't to be the best...if I wanted to be the best, I woulda started over after I pumped like 15 points into INT into my character ^^ but I've put too much into him now that I understand that part of the game.

If you have the cash, and can afford to spend it on something you enjoy, then what the hell? I would feel like I wasn't playing the game to it's full potential otherwise...besides, finding a nice stat weap and jamming it to +5 and reselling is a way to make good moola ^_^

I don't feel that a large silk history makes me any better then the rest of the server(which 93% of it still pwns me =P).

I don't want to sound jealous or envious or anything but you create an unfair advantage over many others by pumping in money, not skills. Likewise, one could just "buy" a fully farmed lvl 70 account with +7 defenses and +9 weapons whether it's against the rules or not, one can.

Selling silk I do oppose of. Most of the gold I make from an alchemy project just goes right back into creating the next. Some I win on, some I lose.


I don't know, maybe? I don't ask. I'm not rich myself, I usually spend about 30 bucks a month in silk, unless I get a drop that has potential, or one of my items gets messed up by me. The most I've spent in one month on silk is $100 to +7 my blade, which the dumb thing went to 7 on the first try.

Imho chaud did what was needed to do as soon as it was possible because it was the only way to get JM attention to serious issues of their service. Nevertheless they acted like complete retards by banning chaud and his team. Since all chaud's "hacking" activities were performed ingame i see no need to act so desperatelly as JM did. Smart companies usually employ people who find such gaps in service. JM neither wanted to contact chaud nor did they fix their bugs in silkroad. Anyway i would do the same thing if i could because im sure nobody of JM personnel reads that Bug report that people spam everyday, so massive exploit was the only way to get their attention. But the most pathetic situation is here in forums where retards (like gaybloom, who shouts loudest) does not understand a shit about importance of propper software support and meassures to take for that support to be treated propper. Im sick of u people.
