					| As a person living in the Baltic States I'm very interested in this conflict because it shows what Russia is capable of and what NATO/EU can and will do about this agression. Now that Ukraine called for full army mobilisation it's kinda clear that they are willing to stand up for themselves and show Putin that he just can't do whatever the hell he wants. Live news about the crisis:http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26405082_________________

					| The united states no longer has the military capability left in Europe to do anything about this. The rest of the Nato army aka Europe has been through non stop budget cuts for the last 20 years. rendering it pretty much ineffective without American support. Besides i think the american's are tired of Europe leaching of the united states military power and pretty much think europe should fix this problem themselves.
The Ukraine should step down and give the Crimea to Russia, If they try to take it back by force they will lose east Ukraine to.

If countrys keep giving up everything without a fight what does them keeping away from taking everything ?Of course a country should fight. However there are only 2 options for the Ukraine right now. 1 being bad and the other being worse. looking at the economic's of this side. there is allot of industry that Ukraine would lose in the east. can they afford that ? being in such a dire economic situation ? after a revolution ? If the Ukraine goes toe to toe with the Russians now there country will be thrown back 20 or even 30 years._________________

					| I don't know much about this situation in Ukraine, but AFAIK...Ukraine was going to choose between Russia or EU or some shit
 President of Ukraine wanted Russia
Ukrainian people didn't want this shit; so they revolted
Ukrainian people won, president driven out
Russia says fuq dat, sends troops to southern Ukrainian peninsula where a bunch of Russians live

Am I on the right track?

Sadly no. The Crimea is mostly ethnic Russians. 58% orso. and they support russia. Russia send trooops into the Crimea to protect ethnic Russians and also to protect there navel base. In east Ukraine there is also strong support for the Russians Also The Crimea originally was Russian tertiary until in1954 when it was giving to Ukraine by the soviet union. Not an problem at the time because it was all part of the USSR._________________

Meaning the Russians and there offspring who lived in the Crimea before it changed hands. Is it ? how come the day that the government changed hands a purposal was already submitted to get rid of the "second official language" of the Ukraine ? which is Russian ? Besides, No matter what happens the Russians will get the Crimea there is no one who will stand in there way._________________

					| It is grey indeed...as with nearly everything....I can understand the continued ties the Russians living in Crimea have with their motherland and I can understand Russia being compelled to come to their aid at the sign of some ethnic turmoil, but from a technical perspective, does Russia has the right to try and forcefully (or even non-forcefully) control/influence what's happening in a territory that it gave away to the Ukraine years ago?... _________________

					| No matter how much I watch the news, which I tend to watch alot of, I don't totally understand the situation. Politics is like algebra for me and I'm super bad at algebra. I only hope somehow all of it can end without people getting hurt, dieing, sanctions, war.

					| Hear, a meme from reddit. Imagine if US and Russia reach a deal where Ukraine is split from Crimea. APPEASEMENT headlines everywhere @Dutchy: Add another shtick: Ukraine dismantled their nuclear arsenal in 1995 (?) at the urging of Russia, UK and US, who promised Ukraine that it would be defended against any invasions. Nevermind: Wikipedia wrote: Respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty within its existing borders.Refrain from the threat or use of force against Ukraine.
Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine in order to influence its politics.
Seek United Nations Security Council action if nuclear weapons are used against Ukraine.
Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine.
Consult with one another if questions arise regarding these commitments
Jeez thats shit dealing on Ukraine's part. _________________

					| Quote: The Ukraine crisis has taken another worrying turn tonight after reports that armed men seized a Ukrainian border checkpoint between Russia and Crimea. Border guards said three truckloads of armed men crossed into a ferry terminal on the Ukrainian side before seizing it.http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/ukraine-crisis-armed-men-seize-3204489#ixzz2uwFCE0ePI suppose the Russians will start shipping in heavy armor tonight. They just installed an S-400 Battery tonight. on the Russian coast.( Advanced AA effective range about 300KM) also seen some reports of Zubr-class LCAC's landing in the Crimea they are capable of holding up to 3 MBT's. Either tonight or tomorrow night Russia will attack the last pockets of resistance in the Crimea EDIT: Althoug it also could be the Ukrainians landing troops. but thats unlikely as the ocean is under Russian control_________________
