Post subject: Question about full set of SOS

I've been collecting a set of SOX gear and I've read on these forums that you get an int & str bonus when you have a full set equiped. What I was wondering is, do you need to have a full set of accessories as well as the clothes? And do you miss out on the bonus if one of your items is SOM while the others are SOS?

Thanks anyone that's able to help me.

You get nothing special, no int or str bonus, no invisibility, no immortality.

One of the posts here said that you get +5 str/int for SOS, +10 for SOM and +15 for SOSun. I'm just wondering if I should bother trying to get the full set or just be happy with what I've got so far.

You get nothing unless you have a full set of 8th degree SoS. In which case you get +5 gold buying.

Is not necessary a must to get a full sos set..
Without sos,we also can try to make it +5 or higher.
Unless you have a strong and large amount of gold inside your storage.
If not,i prefer to get a normal set and make it +5 or higher.
It cost lesser compare to the sos set. :D :D

Bah, just get gear with blue in it. I don't think a full SOS set gaives you int and str.

Extra defence is a life-saver.

Also, money is so easy to get in this game, so I don't see why SoX gears are considered expensive.

I dont care what your friends told you, +1 with powder is impossible to fail.

And sos gears are only useful at cap imo :)

I remember when i just hit 52, i had a 52+7 sos bow, i killed everything my own lvl, but you still cant kill people 3-5 levels above you. Sos or not.

Now it seems you are in the dark about this one zexy, so we should forgive you for your claims of 100% certainty.

You seem to have missed the recent thread that nightv started where he made similar claims but he was wrong too, so don't feel too bad :)

At least 5 other forum users (including myself) have failed going from 0 to +1 USING LUCKY POWDER.

I wish it wasn't so but.......it is.

go back a re-read whatever you read and you will see that what you actually read goes more like this...

sos = +5 levels stronger (or so)

som = +10 levels stronger (or so)

sosun = +15 levels stronger (or so)

no int or str bonuses unless they have int or str on them. and that my friend, is the truth. ty for reading.

I read the same post. It's false information.

Got my SOM pants up to +3 in one go, now I'm scared if I go any further it'll fail and not be able to go past 2.

I have a full 4th set of sos. It didn't make a difference at all. Blue's make a difference in str/def, and a full set of different clothes gives a bonus. Armor = 10% armor bonus. Full Prot= 10% mag usage, 10% speed. Full Garms= 20% mag usage, 20% speed. Sos is nothing more then something neat to give you the ability to grind higher lvl monsters. ^_^
