Xian - Silkroad Tournaments - Need feeback and staff!

The tournaments are divided into three sections:

1v1
Race the clock (BETA –Needs testing- please ask to test

)
Fightnights

Each event takes part by wearing capes at a certain location and fighting under close moderation (Need volunteers for guards, too kill idiots who try to join it – payment may be considered)

1v1 Events:

The 1v1 events will be held every Saturday at a random location in silkroad. The fighters will take to the middle of the crowd and fight best of 3, the winner will receive 3 points on our league table. After 5 fights, the winner of the league will win the jackpot which varies on sign up fees and donations. Sign up info at bottom.

Race The Clock Events:

The race the clock event, imo seems to be the most fun and adventurous. 2 teams will be given a certain locations to reach, starting at 1 of the 3 cities, you will be timed. The first team to reach the location will receive 3 points on the league table. NOTE: This event still needs feedback.

Fight Night Events:

Fight nights are similar to the one that a few guilds experienced on Xian a few months ago; it requires no sign up and is purely for fun. A few globals will be sent out 5-10 minutes before the startup with the location. Users will meet at the location and form a large circle, Users will take it in turn (according to the moderators) to fight. Winner stays on. NOTE: This event needs guards to stop idiots stepping into circle, payment of sro g

I personally think this could work out well if people cooperated, this is still in testing, and will be a while till it all starts up. WebNuts is going live on Christmas day (all files uploaded to server when I wake up

).

I would love feedback for improvement and sign ups for guards and moderators.

I will let you know when the site is up with the league tables etc..

yeah..I've been working on this to 1v1 pvp's 3v3pvps and guildwar tournament, allthough I havnt goten a homepage up...I'd be happy to help you administrate it.

Sure man, hosting is being got soon, costs us a bloody £60 a month

. But yes, id be happy for u too admininstrate it when it goes live.

Very well prepared idea, and seems like a fun one. the only comment on Race the clock is that it should be 2 fair locations equal space apart

o and you need to set rules like Horse or No horse and need to send a scout with them

apart from that Best of luck its a great idea

Yes event like this are a great fun for all servers, you just need a strong and trusted team

also if all goes well maybe the GMs will take notice

Nah nah, the reason we are paying is because WebNuts is not entirely devoted to just gaming. We have 4 main sections:

Community
Gaming
Web Hosting
Web Solutions

We are paying £60 a month for a reseller which lets us sell of parts of our hosting to payers.

Honestly, I think those are great ideas. It would bring a little variation to the grind/job stuff all day. The only thing would be to host these events throughout the day so everyone can get in on it. But, all in all this would be a great time! Keep us updated on your progress with everything.

We are already doing stuff like that in our union a bit. I am waiting to get things a bit more stabilized before we start inviting other unions. But that is the plan eventually. The idea for guards is fine. But we have not needed them since we hold them in places where most people can't get to or don't know about.

Friend thought of race-the-clock a while ago. :wink:

I like horse-races but not many others seem to like those

i would love to join in...

how are the "fight nights" set up?

if a 20 was the winner and stays... who can challenge him?

i dont think itd be fair if a 70 could just come up and one shot him...

or is this really only for the capped players on Xian?

if not... im calling out any 6th degree weapon users.. lol

and for the race the clock thing.. itd be fun if everyone had to wear capes... that way you could take down horses that players were using as an advantage... or you can stun/KD someone to get past them...

just my 2 cents

I guess that you can put it into lvls or degrees like 20-23 24-29 30-34 or something, to makei t as even as posible, that demands alot of people to participate though.

I suppose i could split the fight nights into:

Pure Int
Pure Str
Hybrids

But i will need alot of help with nightnights, to keep them under control. Lots of lvl 70s pls

It will be about 2-4 months till i can start this, we launch on chrimbo then im off to florida for 2 weeks on the 4th on january. So maybe febuary it can start!
