Nakazito stole spear, which caused a guild war between nightblooms
's (TheEMPIRE) and DarkEmpire. In the vid, the 2 people who turned up (Fly and BiggieTymers of Amalgam)...err, question is why did they turn up and not DarkEmpire? How did Amalgam know about the war? Union? Me confused

I thought it would be too wordy to try and explain that. PepsiShine is Fly's alt and the DarkEmpire guild was all his buddies from Age of Empires. Fly just so happened to be checking on his guild when I sent the request. He added his buddy, gave him rights, switched chars and had himself added.

If it's like most stradegy games that add online gaming, then I'd probably be bad, haha. Tried playing Rise of Nations online a few times.....man was I bad!

Perhaps I'll give AoE a go though.

AOE or AOEII (aka AOK)?

He played them all, but I think AOE is his favorite. I have tried to beat him so many times and I am not terrible. He has beat everyone in the guild at least once. =( He can crush me in less than 5 minutes.

Back in the day I used to be pretty decent at age of empires, not GREAT, but enough to hold my own against most players

Now I'm all rusty, I still vaguely remember all the strategies and stuff but I'm not as fast on them so they aren't effective.

Edit- Let's have an srf age of empires game

i've only played AOE2
i could never defend against rushers, they just rush so damn fast. im more of the massing troops type.

that's why i play custom maps mostly (soldier store, castle blood and archer blood, don't know if u guys have heard about them, they are pretty famous maps actually).
