SRO freezes for 10+ seconds and i end up dead

TO the guy who says sro never freezes freezes for more than 3 seconds and dies...please give i ndetail how perfect it runs..u get no lagf or what? cus i have a 8mb a sec coenctio nand i have lag and die al lthe itme

i said this in guild chat yesterday;

"I only get DC'd when the server explodes"

at peak times i sometimes experience up to 8 second delays, being a veteran of lag grinding it is abotu as dangerous as a mangyang to me, just have to go with the flow and get lucky

I dont get any errors at all.
I get the ??? error or DC maybe once a month or so.

megalomatic..i must compell u do thank ur luck ystars..for normal sro players tend u know what its liek to be d/c or feel extreme laf that causes ones death. Some ppl wi nthe lottery..never me...i guess u won.

I never FREEZE up. I sometimes get this strange lag where I just don't pot, and can't move, but I can see myself dying and I can't DC.

If your freezing up, its your computer, check it for spy ware/viruses.

If the server actually froze up for that long, the monsters wouldn't be able to attack you at all, let alone other plays so that means it's....

It's not the server that actually freezes it's the communication between your client and the server. And it happens a lot during peak hours. You can hear the death screams of pure ints from miles away.

Well this is the type of lag I would get on Troy before they really fixed up the lag problem. I hate watching 1 taoist slowly yell and throw fireballs at me and kill me as i watch and cry.

Your problem hasn't happen to me yet but i figure try doing
this and hopefuly it might help.

When you open SRO and login press "ctrl+alt+del" right click
the SRO client in "Applications" and click on "got to process"
then the SRO client process thingy should be highlighted and
right click it and go into "set priority" and then click on "realtime"
and if a warning message comes up just click "OK" or w/e to accept
it.

NOTE: This wont do any damage and wont slow down your computer
so don't get the warning message the wrong way if you have
256mb+ memory.

Anyway hope it helps.

I get 5-10 second lag spikes few times a day. Not as bad now because I bought a better wireless adapter. My wolf usually killed the mob whilst I was lagging.

I used to get lag on wireless, but since I switched to using a LAN cable to connect to my router, I don't lag or DC. Make sure you're not using torrents and stuff at the same time.

Fighting a Giant and many mobs around, then someone get out of the party and I got frozen screen about 3-4 secs, after that I found my char lying on the ground like a nub.
I have 90% chance of getting freeze screen when someone get out of the party.

Painfull.
I generally don't freeze unless my connection is being mean to be.
But I can survive 10 sec freezes when I'm griding on greens
