Hey, Im Hybrid INT (Kinda pure int but w\e), Anyway, Im using protector, And i just found 69 SOS +1 garment chest, Should i switch to garment or stay at protector

switch to garms, not because of your drop but since it's better then prot.

I would try exchange it with a sos protector chest. Or sell it and buy something that wouldn't require you to change all of your gear. Also, going garment just because of one sos piece, when you are close to pure int, might not be so wise.

Easy now, a garment-set would help him alot in PvE, and ofc he could switch to armor/prot or whatever the ..... he wants when he's PvPing.

I'd like to see you call pure ints who grind in garms stupid, wiseass.

first of all, most of the monsters do phy dmg... and him with garment will really hurt...

Second of all, in pvp he'll have his ass kicked by almost any pure str or hybrid...

Farm at nachals, or whatever. I'm saying there's alternatives and that you could have an extra set, as most Int players do. So, instead of just replying to one post read the whole thread next time, okay?

ok.. i might be nuts... but why keep a full garment set with some sos just for nachal???????? what's the point in that?????
second of all i'm int hybrid and had armor from lvl 1 to 80... with no problems

i would use prot for a hybrid.

lvl 69 sos chest. so what? the very last 8th degree chest is lvl 77, so much better than lvl 69 sos. if u found lvl 60 sosun chest, that would be a different thing. as int hybrid you should go pro of course. why? cuz pro is hybrid too -.-. nood need to consider to change gears -.-

Actually, I'd say it depends on what you're grinding, since prot is just useless as it takes crappy phy from armor, and crappy mag from mag and just put 'em together. I'd say keep the garms and get two sets, instead of running around with a crappy one that looks like shit.

If you think that's the truth, then why do people wear prot/armor?

Please, explain oh big experts of silkroad. What the **** is so good about prot? It just makes an hybrid.. An hybrid. It doesn't take advantage of the extra phy that one has as a hybrid, and it certainly don't take any advantage of the mag. defense you could get from garms.

i didn't say anything about protector... first read my posts then write... isaid ARMOR ... being a hybrid with more int then str... the problem you'll have is with the phy dmg you take.. not the mag one... because the extra int also offers you better protection agains mag dmg... also protector may be an opition... but garment... no way... low phy def anyway (cause of the garment and also cause of the int) ... you'll just be an easy target got pure str and also for hybrids

Oh well, my mistake. But if I had to choose, as a pure int/hybrid int, between prot/garms, I'd take garms any day. You're right saying that armor is the first choice but I'd never use protectors on a int, especially not on a hybrid. Garms -> Pot reduce, Movementspeed. Just grind on lower-level mobs and you'll be fine (+you'll level faster, and make more gold). My bad, sorry about the flameing.

np..the only thing is that i am hybrid... and i know what i am talking about... you might use garment got grinding but for pvp.. use armor...

ur just a ..... noob. as int hybrid u neither have the phys. defense of a pure str. nor the mag. defense of a pure int. if u wear garment, u have good mag. defense, but u'll lack phys. defense. if u wear armor, it's just vice versa. so u need a middle way of both. what remains? protector.

ps: bring ur char to 7x. until then: zip it.

there is the # reason why no one should listen to. Its commen knowledge that protector is the most ideal for hybrids. If u cant figure that out, then i suggest u quit.

Find someone to trade UR sos garment to prot and ur done ;x

The whole point of a hybrid Int is to have more life to tank a lil better...also doing this lowers your magic defense..which means if a good pure nukes u in ur shiny protectors u'll get rocked pretty hard for like 5k ~ 6k but in garments u'll have that much more magic defense and those nukes will drop to like 3k ~ 4k dmg, and u will only give up like 200 ~ 300 more dmg to str's in garments...
