How very kind of you SoBlu to admit to botting, I think somewhere in the forums rules that warrants a instant ban?

Anyway, if the US Office of JM really just nitpicks what to report and excludes the massive botting problem and many other issues then I think those in hope for a better improved game should start complaining to the main office in Korea right now :)

I on the other hand will most likely play with nightbloom and others in Granada Espada. 8)

Dont you think KOREA would read their own forum? They would be well aware of what is going on in their own communities. I remember the last massive bot ban list on Xian, 10 people claimed to be innocent. There were even threads on the forum on how to get -unbanned-. Call Joymax in Korea, ask for this guy, and send your client in. A lot of bullshit if you ask me. Did you even think for one second that everyone who actually got banned CLAIMED not to be in use of Illegal Programs? Those people probably said they would SUE Joymax if account is not restored? Now you guys want to bring your lawyers so you can have a better gaming experience? lol man you guys crack me up big time. *Ding* Fries are done.

Maybe you should call back because, last time I checked, hanpooh doesnt speak English.
Where did you get this source? Did anyone else even bother to call Korea? Maybe you should ask people that used Illegal programs and called Joymax to get their accounts un-banned. I am sure they call more than 5 times per day.

The official forum isn't always a good place to post certain topics. I've posted a few topics on the official forum about grammar, incorrect terms and misspellings in-game - but the thread post system strips all punctuation, completely annihilating any point in posting those sorts of topics there...

Now we have a chance of doing something. We might indeed be able to make a chance into changing the efficiency of the california office. If or when we get heard by the Korean Joymax head office I sure hope something happens.

We all should do this, i dont know why this thread is not a sticky around here. Offcourse I have not met the people here yet, and I dont know how you do things around here.

If only 50 written letters to KJM office might make difference we should do this. I agree with the people who are saying that if "we dont try, we get nothing for sure".

In short: LETS DO THIS :D

Yes, send the letters! To do more harm than good!

Now, look i appreciate what you guys have been trying to do. I mean, yeah i would first of all think sending these letters to JM would be a great idea, but honestly. It will do more harm than good. I mean, they DO know what is going on here in iSRO. If it is that they do not pay as much attention to us than they do to kSRO, then so be it. I mean, thats justifiable. They hired the SanJose JM team to deal with the iSRO side of the game.

However, from what i understand. It is the fact that the Korean GMs have yet to give the SanJose team majour power. The Korean team, are still the ones that do the banning. Although iSRO do the investigating. kSRO GMs have the final word. I mean, the original 3. Pizza, Gargamel and Crayon (No Longer With Us) were the ones who do, and did all the bannings.

I STRONGLY dissagree with this point, and find it completely innapropriate! I sencirely believe that the SanJose JM team do a work VERY hard for us, if people remember the posts MD sometimes made on the main forums. About her raiding the vending machine at 4:30am... This shows determination, and i think that MD does this a lot. Stays back for us. Just does that extra work for us. It's true, it might not seem like a lot at the moment. Just you wait, great things are to come out of this game. And when they do, you will appreciate everything that they are doing for us.

I belive that they try, but keep getting beat by the will of those who cheat. Whenver they bring out a patch to fight these cheaters, the cheaters are only a step behind and soon find a way around this... However, although fallen. They keep getting up, and this is why we should show strong appreciation for them. They will still keep getting up, no matter how many times they fall Untill the time comes when they will rule the day and manage to find a way to completely block out the cheaters.

This, i could not have said better myself... Well maybe i could :P. N yes Pred, i completely agree with you. This is the truth, he spoke it like it is. I gladly aknowledge him, and applaud his efforts.

So come on guys, be smart! You only act on how you think the GMs are. But do you really know?

I’m happy to hear that there are still some people in the game. Who appreciate the hard work all the GMs are doing. For example the graphics on the trader flag are absolutely mind-blowing. Every time I look at it I think its real silk. Out of the entire game that’s my favorite Graphic.

I’m sick of having to hear all these people complaining because they got hacked for something they did. Like downloading a bot or going to a *silk give away* website with a hidden Key logger. Yet still they blame the GMs for doing a bad job when in truth it’s not the GMs fault. And if I tell them that it’s not the GMs fault. They retaliate with flaming. The GMs they try to warn you. They tell you. “Make your password hard. Change it regularly. Don’t download bots with key loggers. Don’t go to sites that offer free silk, don’t tell ANYONE your account details”. But I’m sure that the person did something themselves which compromised the security of their account. So don’t blame it on the GMs. They can’t do anything for your foolish actions.

The GMs are doing a magnificent Job at trying to maintain the Servers. This is one of the absolute best MMORPG’s ive ever played no doubt about it. And it’s a FREE MMORPG I’m looking forward to all the updates which will be brought to us. Also I know that the GMs are working hard to fix any remaining bugs or problems. I’m glad that there are still people out there who respect all the work of the GMs and stand up for them. Yes they know how to run a game. This isn’t even a full year old. And its already one of the most world known MMORPG’s. Because of its intense game play. Amazing graphics and free character growth system. So yes they do know how to run a great game

I don’t think the GMs are lazy. God only knows they have a ton of stuff to deal with like maintenance, unhappy players, hackers, security updates WoW does NOT do a weekly system check, and on top of that they probably have lives too. I mean SO many people complain about this game, but does anyone truly understand that this is a free MMORPG? A free well built MMORPG? The game play and control of this game are on par with other MMORPG’s that I know like GW and its expansion, EQ, and WoW that actually cost a thing called money to get.

What Joymax, the MorningDew team and the GMs need now is our support not our flames and insults. However there are still people out there who would rather make fun of the GMs and get angry at them when they have no choice but to shut down the server. Do you really think that this is appropriate? We should show the support that the GMs deserve for all their efforts.

What is there to stop them just saying, you know what screw this. We tried to give a game, a free game, a great free game. We know we have problems, we are working on them. For what? So that we can get screamed at day in and day out by people with no patience, who want everything to work perfectly right then and there. Who don’t understand how to treat people, yes although u guys might not think so the GMs ARE people too.

U want to know why iSRO is so far behind? IT’S BECAUSE OF US Yes that’s right; the same people who complain and complain are the ones who cause the problems.

kSRO, ive hardly heard ANYONE complain about ANYTHING from the iSRO players who have moved there

We simply give the iSRO team way to many problems I mean damnz If they weren’t so busy trying to improve security, we might get an update once in a while. But no, im sure that whenever they release a big patch, some of the JM team probably bring a sleeping bag to the office, knowing that one of us is going to look for a bug to exploit, and they are going to have to spend the night doing some kind of emergency security update

The GMs and MOD team can only do so much; we have to take the extra step. We have to realize that we are destroying the game, we have to stop botting. We have to stop cheating. Think of it as this,

The mod team can only show you the door; you have to walk through it.

The GMs work incredibly hard for all of us, and yes they play the game to. So of course they want to play Euro as well. So in a bit of irony, they are in the same boat as us, they want to play Euro, and patch updates for all of us to enjoy, but they cant. Because they know that they have other priorities. Priorities which you keep creating for them. So, help them help us.

O, and when they do something, is that enough for all those who complain? NO its not We simply move from one problem to the other, and keep complaining It’s never enough is it?

If some of yall spend time reading MDs post in the sro.net forums, you would get an idea of the kind of work and hours that those guys are put through

Still, I won’t lie. I would like to see a bit more interaction between the GMs and SRO players In game. It does not have to be huge gatherings but simply the GMs could pop into the servers more regularly. However the GMs have been busy with security updates. So I believe they deserve a bit of slack. They do not deserve all the insults and flames that the SRO community is throwing at them. It will only demoralize them to do their jobs.

I completely turned around in my decision in sending a letter.
Key-J made me think twice, and it is all a lot clearer now for me.
My full support to the GM's in iSRO, sanjose california

I almost went along with goin around the judgement and sleepovers of the SanJose GM team. :banghead:

In the meanwhile I have read some more, and played some more silkie, and had some more input about all this... I believe now it will all be good.
The GM's need some more thrust (and patience)from all of us iSRO-players.

Legally, to get a KSSN you have to reside in Korea. You also have to be 18+. This means SILKROAD (korean version) is available to Adults only. Which is why there is nudity (yeah!!!)

It's more of an age and maturity level which differs from version to version. Other countries have laws which only allow you to play MMO's for 3 hours per day. Living in America with all the spoiled ass 13+year old kids failing school and using mommy's credit card doesn't really help our community.

So yea, its up to the person to exploit whatever he/she wishes too. Just make sure that you know it's your own damn fault for putting iSRO through such of a hassle.

Key-J stop being delussional, the botters and gold farming companies are not gonna give up, there's too much money floating around and greed/selfish shit on their minds. They're not gonna wake up next day and give up on their 50-300 mil a day gold farming, that should be like 30-200$ a day profit? (not exact numbers just tossing the numbers out there)

ABOVE ALL THE ISSUES IN THE GAME the GM's should treat botters as their MAIN priority, it's what started most of the corruption and imbalancing of the economy, it totally changes the game of what it should have been. Don't expect people to play this game like zombies without noticing it, ignoring the problem won't make it better, being silent about won't help, if anything it would help them(the botters) if you'd stfu about it.

In kSRO, I can only imagine that if they are to play the game, they have to use their own KSSN? That would eliminate alot of issues like CCF. Okay, kSRO is happy and dandy the lalalala world, whatever, iSRO isn't.

Don't complain and flame them? Demoralizing their jobs? THE PEOPLE IN THIS GAME ARE ALREADY BECOMING DEMORALIZED OR ARE ALREADY, OPEN YOUR EYES!

It's now or never, do what you can to make a difference, it's way too late putting a smiley face towards the GM's about the bot issue, the masks need to come off and they need to see a very disappointed ugly face isro player, like this:

I'm sure MD has done a lot of work for iSRO, no doubt, but some of those are very very small things that don't really send big ripple to the game.

I'm probably repeating myself, but those that know they're screwing up the game won't go back to being legit without a fight, without a struggle, or what not, it's like a drug to them, some are addicted and I don't see them dropping it until the big boys give the big ban hammer on their accounts and mule accounts.

The GM's very well might be trying their hardest but if they
want some support why don't they have events? Im almost completely
sure it would take one of the programmers almost no time to do, And yet
even this simple task they neglect. Complaining and disgust is good, It's what
causes revolutions and changes the world (or game) for the better.

Well, not even that they coulda done, cause we didn't get any Easter event this year. I been wondering why they couldn't just give us the same one as last year if they couldn't have develop a new one?

I doubt there are any active GM's left in isro as the GM Global messages seem to come at a specific time each day. I even see people globaling stuff that makes me wonder if the GM's a really seeing them. People actually claiming to botting and the powerlvling company advertising at the same time as the announcements. There is even this advertising bot that has been in Hotan (Aege) for weeks now spamming the chat in town and still no GM response.

Know I know there used to be active GM's cause the first time they found out about ccfing and gold purchases Miss Canada made a global, responding in what she believes he was trying to say. She got a reply alright, and ofcourse everyone was shocked to see a GM reply to a normal player. Was kinda harsh though cause he threatened her account, asking if she want's an ip bann.

Well anyways, just checked the official site and it seems they might be doing something about the botters soon. Course we've heard this before but they mentioned that 'Our war with the bots continues...'.
Now this is what I hate about Joymax as they always promise something, then when it's time to fulfill that promise they mess up as usual.

I've yet to see a big patch released by them that doesn't contain bugs, then it's back to server inspection once again.

Ok, in conclusion I do agree that the bots are the root of Silkroads problems. They flood the servers which cause server traffic and random lags. Bot companies make massive amounts of gold from the game to sell for money, which causes a sick increase in prices due to supply and demand dilemma. And they stand more of a chance of getting sealed weapons due to constant grinding, ksing and frustrating real players.

Let's juss see what they will do after todays inspection other than implementing more stuff into their item mall in hoping that they will get more money in their pockets, for doing such a lousy job since recently.

Who complains and wants this fixed? The players, legit or not, we cause the issue and continue to make it worse. Dont tell me it is only Joymaxes fault, the blame game only works in elementary.

Id rather have a good community then a great game.

So come on guys, be smart! You only act on how you think the GMs are. But do you really know?

I’m happy to hear that there are still some people in the game. Who appreciate the hard work all the GMs are doing. For example the graphics on the trader flag are absolutely mind-blowing. Every time I look at it I think its real silk. Out of the entire game that’s my favorite Graphic.

I’m sick of having to hear all these people complaining because they got hacked for something they did. Like downloading a bot or going to a *silk give away* website with a hidden Key logger. Yet still they blame the GMs for doing a bad job when in truth it’s not the GMs fault. And if I tell them that it’s not the GMs fault. They retaliate with flaming. The GMs they try to warn you. They tell you. “Make your password hard. Change it regularly. Don’t download bots with key loggers. Don’t go to sites that offer free silk, don’t tell ANYONE your account details”. But I’m sure that the person did something themselves which compromised the security of their account. So don’t blame it on the GMs. They can’t do anything for your foolish actions.

The GMs are doing a magnificent Job at trying to maintain the Servers. This is one of the absolute best MMORPG’s ive ever played no doubt about it. And it’s a FREE MMORPG I’m looking forward to all the updates which will be brought to us. Also I know that the GMs are working hard to fix any remaining bugs or problems. I’m glad that there are still people out there who respect all the work of the GMs and stand up for them. Yes they know how to run a game. This isn’t even a full year old. And its already one of the most world known MMORPG’s. Because of its intense game play. Amazing graphics and free character growth system. So yes they do know how to run a great game

I don’t think the GMs are lazy. God only knows they have a ton of stuff to deal with like maintenance, unhappy players, hackers, security updates WoW does NOT do a weekly system check, and on top of that they probably have lives too. I mean SO many people complain about this game, but does anyone truly understand that this is a free MMORPG? A free well built MMORPG? The game play and control of this game are on par with other MMORPG’s that I know like GW and its expansion, EQ, and WoW that actually cost a thing called money to get.

What Joymax, the MorningDew team and the GMs need now is our support not our flames and insults. However there are still people out there who would rather make fun of the GMs and get angry at them when they have no choice but to shut down the server. Do you really think that this is appropriate? We should show the support that the GMs deserve for all their efforts.

What is there to stop them just saying, you know what screw this. We tried to give a game, a free game, a great free game. We know we have problems, we are working on them. For what? So that we can get screamed at day in and day out by people with no patience, who want everything to work perfectly right then and there. Who don’t understand how to treat people, yes although u guys might not think so the GMs ARE people too.

U want to know why iSRO is so far behind? IT’S BECAUSE OF US Yes that’s right; the same people who complain and complain are the ones who cause the problems.

kSRO, ive hardly heard ANYONE complain about ANYTHING from the iSRO players who have moved there

We simply give the iSRO team way to many problems I mean damnz If they weren’t so busy trying to improve security, we might get an update once in a while. But no, im sure that whenever they release a big patch, some of the JM team probably bring a sleeping bag to the office, knowing that one of us is going to look for a bug to exploit, and they are going to have to spend the night doing some kind of emergency security update

The GMs and MOD team can only do so much; we have to take the extra step. We have to realize that we are destroying the game, we have to stop botting. We have to stop cheating. Think of it as this,

The mod team can only show you the door; you have to walk through it.

The GMs work incredibly hard for all of us, and yes they play the game to. So of course they want to play Euro as well. So in a bit of irony, they are in the same boat as us, they want to play Euro, and patch updates for all of us to enjoy, but they cant. Because they know that they have other priorities. Priorities which you keep creating for them. So, help them help us.

O, and when they do something, is that enough for all those who complain? NO its not We simply move from one problem to the other, and keep complaining It’s never enough is it?

If some of yall spend time reading MDs post in the sro.net forums, you would get an idea of the kind of work and hours that those guys are put through

Still, I won’t lie. I would like to see a bit more interaction between the GMs and SRO players In game. It does not have to be huge gatherings but simply the GMs could pop into the servers more regularly. However the GMs have been busy with security updates. So I believe they deserve a bit of slack. They do not deserve all the insults and flames that the SRO community is throwing at them. It will only demoralize them to do their jobs.

I strongly disagree. I know quite a bit about programming; to come out with a patch, it does not take that long. There are many options that Joymax is too lazy to utilize since it would waste...a day. Yes...a single day. How about like (I think it's) Flyff where you download a different .exe file every time you load that's random. That way, you can't bot since the correct initialization code may not be there.

Where's that email verification that we were supposed to have....3? months ago? It doesn't take THAT long to set it up.

How about just solving the problem with more servers? Or how about GMs who are in game? Yes I know this would be a drastic change, perhaps in your opinion, but seeing morningdew apart from screenshots provided by Purified months ago, I don't know, I think that might help. Why is there ALWAYS a thread or two whenever a player sees a GM? Becuase it's usually their first time seeing one. I've been playing for more than a year and have never met a GM. Apart from the sporadic stories I've read here about players being banned, I don't believe in them. I've never seen one...I've never been messaged by one...no one I know has ever met one or seen one...

And spending "About her raiding the vending machine at 4:30am..." who cares. "This shows determination, and i think that MD does this a lot. Stays back for us." Once again...who cares? Have there EVER been results? Granted they have no powers in banning, how about a general presence (which d/cs bots anyway....). How about someone (or rather a team) who DOESN'T delete threads off the SRO main site just because it puts Joymax in a negative perspective which it deserves or put itself in. How about people who aren't so inept as to say (paraphrased) "Yeah, I'm a blader and lvl 80 and yeah, I agree you can't kill at cap. LOLZZ!!!" Completly ignoring replies that say, well, that's quite obvious since we have extremly large pots and now new skills, using weapons 8 levels lower than cap.

"And when they do, you will appreciate everything that they are doing for us." So far every update has been crap, and moreover has adversly affect my game play. Let's go through them....lvl 80 cap increase. I got screwed over since I was 52/53 at the time. I always had successful trades to jangan since I just needed two others with me, and we could always kill any high level theif spawn (I mean 3 one star trades). So, yay, I could survive. After the cap update, I don't think I've ever done a successful trade without at least 2-3 lvl 80 hunters. I see lvl 20 people doing their first trade, and lvl 7X-80 douches waiting at the intersection for the ferries spawning thieves. [How long exactly does it take to write in a single line that says (essentially) whoever spawns the theives will be attacked by the theives. Honestly, don't even answer since you'll probably just defend Joymax even more and say there are other priorities or something like that. It takes probably 10 lines of codes, in addition to deletion in other areas.

Other updates...let's see....we can't forget about the wonderful log in. I played when it was originally start sro--> enter --> eventually connect. Then the verification update....I actually didn't mind this one (originally) since it was a test of speed. Whoever was the fastest typer could get in...or if like me if you had two computers you could always get in. But, slowly more problems cropped up that were SOLELY caused by this update. People got afraid to EVER log off since it was impossible to get back on during the day (well...day to me). Now the latest update, although it has hurt me, I agree with it to a certain point. Joymax is out to make money, what better way than to keep the servers crowded and force people who want to play to buy something to log on. So, now the game is p2p but without the guarunteed improvements that come with the pay to play title. So, Joymax avoids basically being able to be sued by individuals who can logicalls and easily claim poor service. Maybe you don't see it as poor service, but I guess people who aren't 75+ see the truth. This update specifically though...I play from 8pm my time to 10pm my time. Since...that's the only time I can ever log on for this "free" to play game.

How do you know how long it takes to patch a game? FlyFF's game code is much more simple than SRO's. Yet again you spout ignorant statements. And if you "know programming" then you would know different languages take different ammounts of time to make patches in. SRO is coded in an antiqucated language so patches take a hell of a long time. Also there are how many servers in SRO now? Quit a few and that patch has to be sent up to every single server. Also, the ISRO GM team has to be given permission by the Korean team to implement a patch or update. So w/e you a quite a few people on this forum's think they know shit just cuz "they do a little bit of this or that" I have been programming for almost 5 years. Knowing about something and experiancing and doing it are 2 very different things. The SanJose GM team is only doing what they can based upon the very limited power that the Korean office has given them. And most descisions still have to be sent up to the korean office and looked over, which is a long process. This is one of my last posts to noobs like you stfu and gtfo, if you dont know "for sure" then dont assume anything. Remember assumptions are like assholes, everyone has one!

I'm saying Joymax is the problem more or less. Look at how the game is and how it should be. I'm not saying that the San Jose GM team is at fault over programming. They are at fault over the fact that they are never in game. So, you stfu and gtfo about that.

And yes, the code is a little but more complex, I'll admit, comapred to Flyff. However, the basic concepts are the same. From the time that they posed whether premium should be offered to iSRO and the time it was implemented, how long was that?

Regardless, answer this question then, is it in their best interests that SRO stay F2P or go P2P; as in, if it stays F2P, frequent updates, etc. are not neccessary and no one can sue. If it goes P2P, people have much more of a foundation for dissatisfaction with service. So stfu ass, and furthermore that post wasn't directed at you.

I don't give a f--king sh-- about your programming skills or anything, the basic concepts are there. That's all that matters. Implementation time shouldn't be years, it should be weeks, at most. They had what, 2 years to get this right? >.<

I mean, they DO know what is going on here in iSRO. If it is that they do not pay as much attention to us than they do to kSRO, then so be it. I mean, thats justifiable. They hired the SanJose JM team to deal with the iSRO side of the game.

However, from what i understand. It is the fact that the Korean GMs have yet to give the SanJose team majour power. The Korean team, are still the ones that do the banning. Although iSRO do the investigating. kSRO GMs have the final word. I mean, the original 3. Pizza, Gargamel and Crayon (No Longer With Us) were the ones who do, and did all the bannings.

I STRONGLY dissagree with this point, and find it completely innapropriate! I sencirely believe that the SanJose JM team do a work VERY hard for us, if people remember the posts MD sometimes made on the main forums. About her raiding the vending machine at 4:30am... This shows determination, and i think that MD does this a lot. Stays back for us. Just does that extra work for us. It's true, it might not seem like a lot at the moment. Just you wait, great things are to come out of this game. And when they do, you will appreciate everything that they are doing for us.

I belive that they try, but keep getting beat by the will of those who cheat. Whenver they bring out a patch to fight these cheaters, the cheaters are only a step behind and soon find a way around this... However, although fallen. They keep getting up, and this is why we should show strong appreciation for them. They will still keep getting up, no matter how many times they fall Untill the time comes when they will rule the day and manage to find a way to completely block out the cheaters.

I’m happy to hear that there are still some people in the game. Who appreciate the hard work all the GMs are doing. For example the graphics on the trader flag are absolutely mind-blowing. Every time I look at it I think its real silk. Out of the entire game that’s my favorite Graphic.

I’m sick of having to hear all these people complaining because they got hacked for something they did. Like downloading a bot or going to a *silk give away* website with a hidden Key logger. Yet still they blame the GMs for doing a bad job when in truth it’s not the GMs fault. And if I tell them that it’s not the GMs fault. They retaliate with flaming. The GMs they try to warn you. They tell you. “Make your password hard. Change it regularly. Don’t download bots with key loggers. Don’t go to sites that offer free silk, don’t tell ANYONE your account details”. But I’m sure that the person did something themselves which compromised the security of their account. So don’t blame it on the GMs. They can’t do anything for your foolish actions.

The GMs are doing a magnificent Job at trying to maintain the Servers. This is one of the absolute best MMORPG’s ive ever played no doubt about it. And it’s a FREE MMORPG I’m looking forward to all the updates which will be brought to us. Also I know that the GMs are working hard to fix any remaining bugs or problems. I’m glad that there are still people out there who respect all the work of the GMs and stand up for them. Yes they know how to run a game. This isn’t even a full year old. And its already one of the most world known MMORPG’s. Because of its intense game play. Amazing graphics and free character growth system. So yes they do know how to run a great game

I don’t think the GMs are lazy. God only knows they have a ton of stuff to deal with like maintenance, unhappy players, hackers, security updates WoW does NOT do a weekly system check, and on top of that they probably have lives too. I mean SO many people complain about this game, but does anyone truly understand that this is a free MMORPG? A free well built MMORPG? The game play and control of this game are on par with other MMORPG’s that I know like GW and its expansion, EQ, and WoW that actually cost a thing called money to get.

What Joymax, the MorningDew team and the GMs need now is our support not our flames and insults. However there are still people out there who would rather make fun of the GMs and get angry at them when they have no choice but to shut down the server. Do you really think that this is appropriate? We should show the support that the GMs deserve for all their efforts.

What is there to stop them just saying, you know what screw this. We tried to give a game, a free game, a great free game. We know we have problems, we are working on them. For what? So that we can get screamed at day in and day out by people with no patience, who want everything to work perfectly right then and there. Who don’t understand how to treat people, yes although u guys might not think so the GMs ARE people too.

U want to know why iSRO is so far behind? IT’S BECAUSE OF US Yes that’s right; the same people who complain and complain are the ones who cause the problems.

kSRO, ive hardly heard ANYONE complain about ANYTHING from the iSRO players who have moved there

We simply give the iSRO team way to many problems I mean damnz If they weren’t so busy trying to improve security, we might get an update once in a while. But no, im sure that whenever they release a big patch, some of the JM team probably bring a sleeping bag to the office, knowing that one of us is going to look for a bug to exploit, and they are going to have to spend the night doing some kind of emergency security update

The GMs and MOD team can only do so much; we have to take the extra step. We have to realize that we are destroying the game, we have to stop botting. We have to stop cheating. Think of it as this,

The mod team can only show you the door; you have to walk through it.

The GMs work incredibly hard for all of us, and yes they play the game to. So of course they want to play Euro as well. So in a bit of irony, they are in the same boat as us, they want to play Euro, and patch updates for all of us to enjoy, but they cant. Because they know that they have other priorities. Priorities which you keep creating for them. So, help them help us.

O, and when they do something, is that enough for all those who complain? NO its not We simply move from one problem to the other, and keep complaining It’s never enough is it?

If some of yall spend time reading MDs post in the sro.net forums, you would get an idea of the kind of work and hours that those guys are put through

Still, I won’t lie. I would like to see a bit more interaction between the GMs and SRO players In game. It does not have to be huge gatherings but simply the GMs could pop into the servers more regularly. However the GMs have been busy with security updates. So I believe they deserve a bit of slack. They do not deserve all the insults and flames that the SRO community is throwing at them. It will only demoralize them to do their jobs.

But in one of the posts i saw tonight the reply from them was an example of their complete ignorance of software. Their reply was both condescending and sarcastic.

I guy posted a link to a screen shot and one of Morningdew's replies was,

What do you want me to do, ban you for illegal program use.

The guy's screen shot was in window mode, and they indicated that was illegal program use.

Sorry, i understand where you are coming from, but they are there own worst enemies with replies like this.

And once and for all they are not GM's and have none of the powers of them.
They are only moderators of the forum nothing else.
They can only ban people who post on the forums not players.

They do not speak for anyone from Joymax, they are the there for one reason only, to respond to anyone that doesn't talk korean.
And god help the people that don't talk english as a first language.

Supposedly 5 possible moderators responding to thousands of users.

Numbers don't add up.

The three of us who came up with this idea have all gotten responses from the California office and the Korea office. GM Kiriyu is on business in Korea and actually has a meeting with someone from Joymax or something.. don't know exact details. Might update later if i'm informed of the details.

As far as I know, two people outside of my friends and I have gotten a respeonse, they were probably the ones who sent letters when they first saw this.
I'll post a scanned version of my letter and email transcript from JM as soon as my scanner is working again.
