Yea can someone tell me, because i have a GT in my storge that i have
yet to use, and if this replaces it...then a very much pissed off

if you already have a GT active, you'll have to wait for it to finish before you can use a premium ticket.

Joymax are ruining their game. Guess what, now 90% players will start botting because if they bot, they get an advantage on those premium items. I've been fighting bots for a while because i thought ithey were unfair, but now i think that premium thing is even worst, so if i can't log in anymore, i think i'll start botting aswell. Joymax are asking for it.

I just hope they aren't going to DC people to make room for premium users..

I'm quitting too... I'm not into monthly fee p2p games.

Ooooo never thought about that but that's gonna happen, because when a server is full there's no way to log in, unless you kick another player unless they have 1000 hidden slots for premium users.. but when those slots get full, then premium users would kick themselves... no one will be able to lvl in this game anymore...

This will be the silkroad apocalypse... we can all say goodbye to sro..

you see ... sro was an incomplete or partial complete product. and understanding the mmo market, they cant wait till they "complete" the development of sro before releasing to the mass. they know that there are many other mmo on the cards. so they rolled it out, any later, they wouldnt capture as many players as they have now.

silk buyers are paying the developers to continue with their work towards product completion (like solving bugs). and in the meantime, new game contents get introduced periodically to keep the gamers happy, distracting them from the fact that the product has many flaws pending fix.

nothing too appalling ... if u think microsoft.

the recent bot list send out the clearest message out there on how joymax intends to handle (or not) the bot situation.

while the whole sro community is divided abt botting, BAM ... came premium items. for the legits, they may think that this is their chance to play catchup with the bots while remaining true to themselves. for the bots, yeah ... premium items serve to drive them further in front of the pack.

i say a wonderful game like sro is wasted. pity that joymax chose this path.

anyways ... no hard feelings ... why should there be ... this is a game, play if u feel entertained, quit it when otherwise. nothing worth investing any emotions on.

Whining always and always as soon as something is done, that's all you can do.
You can still play without paying anything. But if you're feeling so sad because you can't (or don't want to) pay a few $ to have an EASIER gameplay you don't have to play this game. Just choose another one, there are many.

2 main things in this game are used to make your char progress : time and money.
If you have a job you can easily pay a GT or PT, but you have less time to grind. I'm playing my main char for over a year, and I'm only about to reach 80, and I don't have yet enough SP to max my masteries.
On the other hand if you are student you got much time but less money. In the end it's kinda the same.

Imagine a train between 2 cities. One is free but travel lasts 2 hours while the high speed one costs 10$ a travel, but lasts only 1 hour.
OMG not fair !!! they pay while we don't and we don't get same service !!!

think of it this way. the botters clog the server. if each botter buys this new thing that they get login priority now, guess what? the servers are still going to be clogged lmao.

so it eventually stays the exact same.

the 3int and 3str isnt going to cause THAT MUCH of a difference.

but JM is definatly helping the botters right now and not the legits =\

You guys are ALL forgetting the golden rule NOTHING IS FOR FREE.

also, if they came out with this update, that means that they CAN fix the server traffic problem, BUT THEY refuse to do so, without making us pay.

If they HAVE to earn even more money, let that cursed Premium ticket connect them to some Premium server or something, so that we legit people who aren't buying that shit thing don't get kicked out of the server by the rich kids and botters.

Gold bots, bots [intended for playing] and multi-clienting a**wipes are what take up alot of space on the servers...

The login priority has atleast screwed gold bots and multi-client (may they burn forever) users...

Bots intended to be used by players I've usually see less of, so I'm thinking things may not be that bad...

It's funny because without botters, no login privilege should be necessary. If they ban the bots, login would be easier. I guess you take my point. Give Joymax money, please

we all know already that joynax is only out for money. why does everyone keep thinking that somehow they are going to change. they will never make a system to stop botters, only ban them and hope they come back to use their new silk items and get to the cap in a few months again, thus making them more money.

once everyone learns that this game's developers only care about money, the sooner they can either accept that fact and still have fun in the game, or quit. its really as simple as that.

See its the way you word it, "...only care about money..."

Its a business, a business is designed to make money for its owners/shareholders, there are many ways to accomplish this, making video games is one of thoise methods...

If it was designed to care about people it'd be a charity...

this may be true, but most people respond to good customer service. dont you think that if joynax started actually doing some of the things their customers suggest, that they might make a bit MORE money? Well, that's the way i think anyway. If i were to run a business, i would like to keep as many of my customers happy as possible.

ive been countless times comeing home from work and tryed logging on silkroad spendin 1 hour max just to get on is riduclous and gettin priority and 100% exp with loads fo added goodies is totaly HURAAH FOR SRO BOUT TIME !!!!

Yeah, but as JM has said earlier, we don't exactly make up a majority on these servers. And I don't see too many turks lodging abusive remarks, constantly whining, or persistently mocking JM or its staff...

And as businesses go, you tend to stick with people who pay and don't give negative feedback, and since they represent the majority...

Plus when you add in the botters, who generally keep the their mouths shut about things anyways, you get this sorta lopsided service...

The whiners represent a small minority, and that small minority usually doesn't pay much money either...

Look at all the threads about the premium tickets, so many people feeling that they are somehow entitled to special treatement by whining and deciding not to pay as a form of protest, what is that going to accomplish, they're the minority.

Besides that, I've been going on this forum for a while now. And it are always the same people that complain about stuff in game. Considering youre complaining for a while now and youre still playing. JM has to do something right.

What i know is JM know how to resolve the traffic problem, but they dont wanna give us the best service possible >.>
Now i wonder if someone would be kicked if another person logged in

its a decent fix but i rather had it announced before i bought a new 4 weeks goldticket and already started it
nice one joymax i got to wait about 3 1/2 weeks now before i can use a premium
BUT it is a GREAT solution everyone who can buy silk will have the biggest advantage they ever wanted (logging in when they want on whatever time)
but this should be with everything from silk (at least the 4 weeks tickets too)
Joymax is indeed lazy on making decent fixes to their problems.
