cost of sro is not $0. The only way you can use the "it's free" excuse is if they never even offered an option to pay. But they do, and when you agree to take someone's money in exchange for something you are held to an obligation to provide something in return. Many people DO pay them, and in return as a paying customer I expected something in return. I was not given anything that I felt was worth my money, so I took my money elsewhere.

In short, when a person pays for something, they expect something for their money. When you come out of it feeling ripped off, it is common to voice that concern, and sometimes it influences the business to change their practices, or at very least warning others about it.

yes, u kept the game running, plus occasional updates. that's what joymax felt u contributed.

same old bs from same old peps, dont complain so much just go play what ever you feel like playing and get over JM ... btw why is the ppl that soes not have nothing to do whit the forum here ? if ur not playing isro why are you here complayning about a game you dont play, is it maybe ur getting payd to advertise other games here ?? i play isro and Guild wars, and i think Guild Wars kick's wow's a$$ but im not here saying that ... if u dont play dont complaing and let the other ppl play ... and let them spend their money on what ever they like to spend it ... if u pressed the button to buy silk, u knew what you were buying. if you feel ripped off, take an english course, then read the item descriptions better. the item mall has nothing to do with bots and other sro problems.

the fact that you payed for silk, means you should get w/e advantage joymax gives to silk buyers. if you do not pay for silk, you get a good free to play game with no support. if you dont like the fact you get no support, agree to pay for the advantages that come with buying silk, or go find another game. all the lame complaining threads in the world will not make the game exactly how you want it to be. im fine with there service. im fine with paying to log in. sometimes i wont buy a ticket, and ill play FREE. other times i will buy a ticket and ill get my kewl advantage. i dont have to own everyone RIGHT NOW. i dont need to log in RIGHT NOW.

oh and everyone that has quit or is quitting, THANK YOU! logging in is nice. mi sure if enough of you quit, i wont have to buy a ticket to log in.

this just shows that the server COULD handle more people in the beginning (before update). But they just "created" the problem so people could get piss off and buy this new "special preminun ticket"

or it could be the fact that they cant handle it and it will lag like hell? But anyway my question as before (it got overshadowed by arguing) will this ticket kick people to make room or just add onto the cap? How everyone is talking it will just add on to the cap so to speak, but just want to clear it up

the thing im gonna like the most, is that wen isro get's updated all the ppl that talked bs about it, and all the other stuff, are going to come back to check it out, and are going to buy silk, to try and reach the new cap and get the new items ... and they are goin to find out how hypocrats they were ... i just know it like it happend wen 70 cap came ... and they will tolerate bot's and lag, and buy premium to skip server traffic ... just wait for it you will see them login in ... and buying little piggys, and idk cuz that's how life is and will allways be ... live and let other ppl live

and btw whit premium you get quest that grantz you more SP so you will not have to be gaping all the time ... i think that's pretty good "good bye Sp farming"

So, anyone saying anything negative should STFU? First off, I seconded what had been already said by NB and Ryoko about this game. I did not rant. Another poster brought up the other game, so I offered my own experiences, which were similar, and some advice. Then comes the "omg u whiners shud stfu this game is FREE!" lines.

Point is, the game WAS NOT free for me. I read the "button" to buy silk, the horridly broken english I didn't fully understand at first, but I thought why not? Maybe THIS is how you make the game more fun. Turns out I was wrong. Okay, I'll deal with that. However, when other's are saying the same thing, I have every right to chime in with my own experiences. Should I just GTFO and not speak about it anymore? Perhaps, but then the owner of this forum feels the same way, and says the same things. Perhaps, if you don't like hearing it, don't come in the thread? If you can't deal with constructive criticism as a good thing then I'm sorry for you. There was no "OMG this game SUKS!!!!!!1111" I laid down real problems I had with SRO, and informed others that might be reading that it doesn't have to be that way.

But why do I still read this forum? SRO is like a bar, it is free to get in, sit and chat with other people, you don't HAVE to buy anything. So I go hang out with my friends that go in there, talk, shoot some pool. To make it more fun, I try buying a drink or two, and every time I do, the beer is warm and the liquor is watered down. I complain to the bartender, I paid for a drink and this is crap, and I get "oh, the beer cooler is broken and the tapper is messed up, but we are fixing it soon!" Okay, so I keep going, and every now and again I try getting a drink again, same result. Then I find out all that it has been this way for over a year, and the fixes are trivial, they are just too cheap to do them, plus they make more money by NOT doing it. Okay, now I'm starting to get mad. There's all of these other patrons starting fights and no bouncers kick them out, and after awhile it just starts to suck. But my friends don't want to go to another bar, one that is nicer with free drinks but you have to pay a cover to get in. They keep saying "no, its going to get better, the owners are gonna fix the tap and cooler and get bouncers to kick these people out, you'll see", when I can see that it isn't ever going to happen. So the question now is, do I stay for my friends, hating every minute I'm there, or do I leave and go to the other bar by myself? I decided to leave. Meanwhile I find a newspaper about the free bar, talking about all the new bands and other news about the goings on there. I read to find out if they actually fix the problems so I can go back and enjoy myself again with my friends, instead of just hating every minute I'm in there. So I keep reading it. However, there's letters from people complaining about it, even the owner of the paper is, so I write a few letters about my experiences also. Then I'm told to shut up about it?

Look at the updates today. They added a "bonus card" to let certain persons in that pay for it. Most of the time you can't get into this "free bar" because it is packed, and instead of just kicking out the unruly crowd, the owners simply make it so if you PAY for their crap, you can get in. The drinks still taste like crap, and it isn't really free anymore, but hey, you can get in now!! For those "updates" they swear they are going to do that they put into their other bars over a year ago. Have fun.

Okay, fine. I'm tired of listening to the fanboy crap. I'm tired of trying to reason, to discuss (that is the purpose of a forum), to state my opinions in an adult fashion, then to have barely literate fanboy attacks thrown at me for not worshipping Joymax. I'm done with SRO and I'm done with this forum.

Ajax, DemonArrows, cookies, the rest of Onslaught guild, egy_hero, and everyone else I was friends with in the game, if you read this, thanks for everything. I'm out for good now. Yeah, maybe I should log in and say all of that, but for one most aren't usually on at the same time, and I uninstalled SRO now so I'm not going to waste my time reinstalling and trying to log in.

EDIT: Oh yeah the only thing with the instant log in is thats J.M. got tired of people gripping about not being able to log in to use there GT and they make a "better GT" so that your guaranteed a log in.. Wheres the problem??? Now you can use all your P.T. so none of its time is wasted, It just guarantees you get what you paid for. What more do you want?

See we dont agree. JM banned him for having an altered client, called him a botter, yet in traditional Fly manner, he is still 100% loyal to the game. I hate JM for they did to him more than he does. I stay here, in the forums, if not in game, for him and with him. The ONLY thing SRO has going for it in my eyes is Fly.

Everyone has a reason to stick around, even if they dont play. I dislike SRO intensely for being the MMORPG fcukup of the gaming world, for killing my game with their money grubbing BS, for making a f2p game where only ppl who pay matter and even then, they dont matter much.

Well you see the biggest problems are bots 24/7 looping and lvling. And who is stoping botters to buy premium and have their place "reserved", so again no need for frikin premium..

And regarding JM.. it is true that this is no free game (in the narrow sence of the word - cause who would make a game just for our pleasure and get nothing in return - money),
But the problem is game is shit cause of botters, and cause of JM is using all "FREE FOR ALL GAME" crap not to do their job and give us right service for our money and time.

My country had the same problem with turism (everyone opened rooms, or hotels and just waited for turists to come and collect money from them - so it was shit till they realized that they must offer service or noone will come and stay next time - so now its all great)...

And hell yea I am playing this game over 9 months now, i pay for silk, and i have the right to complain and say something is shit or bad.

First of all, I wanna say that their image verification is CRAP, it doesn't work, since there are programs to go through it (by writing the good letters in). And yeah these programs were up LONG time before this update came up.
So don't say image verification made something great, it's just a way to annoy people.

Now just try to see it like this :

They made an update ONLY for silk buyers (you cannot deny it).

In this update, there are new pets (totally useless).

There is a new ticket, which allows to log in at the first try ...??? Why the hell did they implement this ? They want their servers to be always crowded ? (if they arent already, they will be more crowded xD if this is still possible) People will be kicked only because someone who has paid wants to go in ?

Their quest thingy is crappy, 2500SP for 500 items ? Lemme laugh loud

And stop talking about what they WILL do, just watch what they HAD done : first update for a long time, and it's only for payers benefits ... first update for a long time, and it's such a crappy update that will prolly kick out normal players ...

Btw just something about botters : they ban 1k ppl every month in 2 servers right ? Then why don't you start botting after the ban ? You will not have to worry for like 8 months

Really I cannot believe they did such an update, couldn't they, I dunno, make some arenas ? Couldnt they increase the max lvl of players ? Couldnt they implement some decorations for our characters ?
NO, they found it better to find a better way to earn money..

And if you dont think like that ... Oh well, go back to play, be kicked every second because you do not pay for the game, see the number of botters increase, see this game dieing ...

And go see how other games work : go see Rappelz, with their updates BOTH in item shop and in the world, with at least one GM always on (yes they have some kind of live chat ...). Go see other games, and see how they work, before finding this update is a good one.

The fact of the matter is that Joymax exists to make money. Thus their updates will tend to cater to silk buyers. Welcome to the real world where customer service is for customers *cough* paying customers. Admittedly, Joymax customer service blows for both parties (silk and non silk buyers). That's why I ain't buying silk until the major issues are resolved.

I just said that because my guild is not only in SRO, and I couldnt help complaining : in other games, it's not like that, and this is the first time SRO gets something this wrecked (And I was astounded some ppl didnt see it like that).
