Ok before u all start flaming me, plz read this

i played the game 9dragons for a short period. this game was not
really my style since you didnt see how much dmg you did, didnt
see what dmg mobs did to you and didnt see how much hp/mp you
had. game sucked imo. but thats not my point here.

my point is that it was a beta. so acclaim, the developer of the game,
put acclaim banners in-game like every 10 minutes. off course, it is
very irritating to have a big banner in front of your face when you
are grinding mobs, but they also put the acclaim logo in the minimap
every now and then.

my idea is, that joymax could make a deal with a big company that is
youth-centered. idk maybe coca cola or mcdonalds or some other big
company. they can put their company logo/banner in the minimap
every 10/15 minutes and ask lots of money for it since there is a lot
of ppl playing this game, young and old.

i know this will not be read by any mods/developers of joymax, i just
wanted to say that there is a way for them to get money from others
than the players

what yall think of the idea? discuss it

i say its a good idea if they can bring in money from somewhere else they might go easy on us

advertising in an online game is getting popular, especially in the Second Life game. This is from what I read.

But suppose JM do this, then what will happen next? Besides they get more money, I mean

i heard that toyota is actually showing conceptcars in secondlife
to see ppls opinions.

about what will happen next is that they might drop the whole
premium "i get into the free game cause i pay for it" idea and
get to hire more ppl from the money they get from their sponsors.

That wud annoy the f u c k out of me.

MacDonalds popping up on my mini map or in my face every 15 minutes?

Imagine int he middle of a guild war.....

"WANNA BIG FAT MILKSHAKE?? HAVE A BURRRRGGGERRRRRRR!!!!"

Ah, i see it now. Hiring more people, better customer service (hopefully).

Instead of popup, they can paint the whole wall of JG the color of McDonald; or they can put giant flags with McDonald logo in every town; or they can change NPC's outfit into McDonald's uniform; or they can make a quest for players to collect Big 'n' Tasty hamburgers.

That'd be hilarious.

In te history of Silkroad was there McDonald's or Coke or watever

It would be just another thing for people to whine and bitch about it... so yeah bad idea.

steam also did this with cs when you view the scores there is a commercial banner above.
