I know people that can +4 almost anything in 10 exilirs or less, and I couldnt +4 with 50 exilirs. So, your "theory" fails.

Yes, this is soooo true, i can always easily +3 stuff with 3~6 elixers all my guildies gimme their stuff to at least +3 it .
Though i have bad luck with stones

Grats on the weapon!!! Very nice indeed.
However, I'm with the crowd above...I can +3 most stuff in 10 elixirs or less, but +4 just not happening. I had a 42 sos glavie that I got to +3 in 7 elixirs, then proceeded to pump another 50 elixirs at it and it wouldn't go +4. I don't think 50% increase would help me much.
