@ egypt: JM isnt the root of the problem its the players who are botting, scamming, ccfing, using dupe hacks that are the problem. Get rid of the botters all together watch updates come in alot fast. Also getting rid of Bots in SRO isnt as easy as in other games as the game is set up differently.

I'll concede that point; however, it was the way the game was designed. In WoW, a "professional" player (lossely definfed as playing 3-6 hours) can reach cap and fully skilled (when it was 60) in about 3-4 months (as in my lvl 60 healer).

In SRO, it takes 1.5 or more years. This game was designed for Korean gamers, not for international gamers. That's why bots became prevalent, it's the only way to grind for some.

The game is designed to be extremly unfair. Why is it that a lvl 80 can kill 3 lvl 72 people attacking it...In most other games, lower levels can gang a single player and kill it.

The game brought it's own problems, and players responded in a likewise fashion. If there are no bots, we'd still have no updates. Don't be naive; San Jose would have even less to do then.

In kSRO, you'll see guilds and unions of gold botters. Those are already starting to appear for us. There's no way to fix this game. Botting can never be eliminated. It's a program...nothing more. It can always be changed.

All I wanted to say is that Joymax is out for money as any good company is; the game rips off players and every step along the way reinforces that opinion.

The problem that you people dont seem to understand is that the San Jose office has NO POWER TO BAN BOTS OR PERFORM UPDATES!... there I said it in caps maybe it will register in your brains. They have to contact their superiors in Korea and they have to get it approved then the message has to be relayed back down to the San Jose office for implementation. So STFU ABOUT SAN JOSE!

If u want them to ban bots, report bots actively as soon as u see one. Im sure u report 0 bot a day...

GMs dont have the power to ban bot, but make report to JM. I saw somewhere someone wrote "we receive a monthly report...(not weekly...)" and "we do not know about the situation of bot in iSRO". So if u want to help them, do reports.

If there is only 1 report for 1 bot, they wont ban. But if it's 50+ reports for a same bot, yes.

Note: Altered SS will have no value. U should send the original one with name like this SRO[2007-05-11 04-36-07]_04.jpg. This will tell the date and the time.

You accuse everyone who doesn't care about bots as being a botter in nearly all threads. Nothing will be done about bots...the last major ban list and the one before that were still just gold bots.

How about you send in 50+ reports. I've sent in 3 reports....nothing was ever done about them since all three are now 80...does it matter in the grand schemes? No.

And sry for your accusation. I made 700 posts in this forum; what do u mean by "nearly"? It means 600 of my posts is bot accusation?
I apology for my accusations i made before and i wont accuse anyone again, even if the proof is behind of my eyes.

No. 3 reports is nothing, JM will just ignore it. And only u cant do anything, it's not enough. U need the cooperation of other players. If 100 players send a report, it will mean something. If each one of them do 10 reports a day, then JM will receive 1000 reports a day. Do u know what is spam? By spamming legally 1000 reports a day, u force JM to do something. I dont believe that they delete reports as soon as they see "bot report" in the title, or they make a filter like Yahoo's or Hotmail's Bulk folder???

i love it how ppl think they have a say or can change the game when its free, the only ppl who should have a say or try to contact the game for change should be the ppl who have purchased silk

THAT is so wrong dude.

The game is FREE, you can buy silk on your own enjoyment you are not supposed to purchase silk.

So if you grind a char from lvl 1 to lvl 80 without ever botting or buying from item mall then those people should have a say too.

This game is, again, free. EVERYONE should have a say. Saying that only ppl who buy silk have a say is wrong cause then that would make the game non free. as long as its free everyone should say what they think, should be listened to and heard.

So considering what you just said, it was unfair amongst those who grind their asses off all freaking day to get close to a high level, taking their right of free opinion ability is not fair at all. :banghead: :banghead: i call people like you retards but anyway lets stay ontopic, no flaming here

Not really, I never agreed anywhere. You are just a moron who came to these forums to troll about and what not. SJ office can only do so much. + I report bots often and alot of them get banned. Also the last major listes werent gold bots go re read the list noob. gold bots have acc/char names like fgdgh gjgjhks dfgdshhs khjgkgjh crap like that. Yes while alot of that list was gold bots quite a few were player bots. If all you are going to do is troll about gtfo.

And with this....I'm done with this thread.

And also no, gold bots do not always have random names. Go to the penons. There are nukers with names like aragon, there are ice bow bots ks-ing each other with the same build, same garments, with real names...

And I checked the list for my server, I've played along side many of those bots, seen them grinding. Only a few were banned. The over whelmingly majority were just the new types of gold bots (the nukers, the ice bow, etc.) that are actually named with real names.

1) I don't know what you mean by trolly...so I looked it up.

"A cart used in mines and on railways. A railway trolly is worked by the hand, which moves a treadle; a coal-mine trolly used to be pushed by trolly-boys; ponies are now generally employed instead of boys. (Welsh, trol, a cart; trolio, to roll or trundle, whence “to troll a catch”—i.e. to sing a catch or round.)"

So...I am a cart? I don't quite understand.

2) Your logic and arguements make me think of this: (Specifically BIGMIKE133)
