i had a plain 72 ring drop with very good stats(phy+93% mag+53%).

It was a pity cos i was already done with my rings, both pimped +4 with 20% almost all the important status and int5, str4/3. The % are average though, +22%

I decided to keep the new ring for a while to try pimp it up a bit. i was thinking if this ring cooperated in alchemy, i might replace one of my current rings. i started with the cheaper stones, threw in about 6-7 fire stones, 2-3 zombie stones. Final result 1% burn :roll: no assim tho luckily. but i was losing my patience.

this morning when i woke, someone pm in stall offering to buy it for 3mill, we negotiated and i finally sold for 4mill. thinking back now, somehow kinda regretted. it could have beena great ring if i persevered. should i have sold it? i dunno, what u guys think?

we spend so much gold trying to get what we have to be better than it is, as good as it possibly can be given our means. when something better drops in our laps (literally), the temptation is to invest all that time and effort back into it, but in reality it's probably never worth it.

yeah you're right. The thing about jewelry is that, theres only so few things you can assim. Its either phy or mag, nothing else. The chance of screwing up is so high. Thats why my strategy was add as many crappy blue stats as i could so that the assim monster would have other meat to kill. but even those few wouldnt go.

besides, my experience with high % jewels is that the blue stats are a b|tch to add ie int2 str1 freeze5% burn3%...familiar?

ok, im just consoling myself lol. anyway, i wish the new owner all the best in pimping it up.

can't take total credit, the stock is from a sticker for sale at the website that shares my char's name. i won't post the link. you can figure it out. i just did some color balancing, a few gradient maps, and a stroke or 3.

</off-topic>

sorry about that.
