Remember the days of the 60 cap? When everyone was a 1:1 hybrid? And when there was someone who dared to stray from the 1:1 path, everyone thought he was god?
Remember when you didn't see EVERYONE using fire imbue? And ice and light were widely acceptable imbues?
Remember when ice bladers were totally badass? And soul spear, ghost spear, knockdown and stabdown weren't abused in pvp? Remember when everyone used combos in pvp?
Remember when there was no alchemy (Which was AWESOME!), making builds much more important? Rememeber having no astrals? +7 was like the rarest thing ever.
I remember those times, and I want to have them back!
I suggest that someone (I'll do it maybe, but I want support!) goes onto the official sro forums and requests for them to release a new version of the game that is at the 60 cap.
This version of the game will not get updated (although equipment upgrades and maybe some silk items will still be upgraded/implemented).
I really want to play the game at the 60 cap, back then, the game really required skill, and it wasn't this huge grind fest.
Even if you don't remember the 60 cap, I suggest for all new playest to join the 60 cap server. This way their 1:1 hybrid won't suck so badly, and they'll be able to choose an abundance of masteries to try out.
You think it's terrible getting to level 80? Well, getting from 1-60 is alot like getting from 60-80 (or so I hear).
If you get tired of the 60 cap (Ha! Like that's possible  ), then you can always switch to the main game, with so much more knowledge about how to play the game.
Anyways, who supports this?

eh... i wasn't around for the 60 cap, only 70 cap. the idea sounds kinda good i would most likely give the server a try. the main reason jm won't do it is because it will mean less money for them sad but true

Yeah, the 70 cap WAS cool. The only thing that keeps me from asking the return of that is that lots of evil was revealed with the 70 cap, such as alchemy and wolves. As well as the kd sd spamming.
70 cap was great, alot of good memories, but I still prefer 60 cap, and I don't think it would be right to ask for 2 new servers at once, lol.
Although I do doubt they'll release this, I don't think it should be too hard. Just get the older version of the game and throw it on a server, and you're done

I only like how things were at the 60 cap: very little bots, very little idiots.
But i'd much rather have like a 90 cap, I have yet to play an online game yet where there hasn't been hacks and cheats =.=, I think it would be pretty nice to have the 90 cap without bots and stuff ;p.

If you are talking about back in alpha when the game just came out the cap wasn't 30 then, I hade a friend that was 32+ and those Forever_CN ppl were too o.o.

Sigh Ranin when we say we want the 60 cap back. We mean we want the good times back .. the fun drama .. the rare bots. The equality.
Nowadays it's too full, hacks, scams, botters etc etc.
You can go ahead make a 60 cap server. But then You will have peopel botting to the cap within 2 weeks ..... Yeah great >.>

Yeah, I know the best thing about the 60 cap was the great fun, but keep in mind that having this new server will solve some problems and make it fun again.
For one, like I said more imbues are acceptable and no spamming attacks, but also the server won't have many bots.
I mean, if you were a botter, why would you bot to level 60 in a game, and not necessarily be the absolute best, when you could bot all the way to 90? Do you know what I mean? It's much more likely for botters to stick to the full version of the game.

Unless there was a cap before Oct 2005, it was never 30, they just wiped it before anyone was really able to lvl past it, things were slower at the time, no one knew what they were doing, but the CN ppl and BOSS guild I remember for sure(with ss's)were 32+. I remember one of em use a nuke and everyones like "Wtf how the hell you do so much dmg in 1 hit!?" "not even crit" "hax!" lol.

when there was still a 60 cap i think i was like level 25 with some noob hybrid bow, but when i started my nuker the 60 raised to 70.
now being level 69 with my nuker, i would definetely play on a 60 cap server
make an ice blader or something because they were so damn sweet at 60 cap

Well...I miss the old days but they will never come back, that's the way it is (things never gonna be the same etc ;P).
Even if we get a lvl 60 cap server, unfortunately....People will still ccf, use builds, will be immune to ice bladers...Etc

It's simply impossibly to create what lvl60 cap was.
handfull bugged bots
none max farmed
+5 being godly weapon
sos being very rare
gold/item price ratios
high lvl's helping low lvl's!!!
3x ppl gangbang killing high 4x ppl(one of my favorite exp's)
isy hunting was a challenge
the first and last cap when legends were born(being high lvl didnt make you a legend!! or top pvp:er)
manual potting
this one is for the 3rd pt software ppl
no one whining about that there is nothing to do!!!
24/7 stall accounts being rare and only used by handfull ppl with 2pc's
having 30m gold made you a rich bitch
everything changed when itemmall opened and certain other pos came out..

yeah i think id love it so bad, i remember Revolution guild's vid and it was filmed when the cap was 60 and it seems to be so awsome,... bah , my wish is to get capped someday

60 cap and 70 cap was too geared towards single player pvping, I like using parties and supporting pure ints and all that.
Sry i move ahead. Change sucks, but it isnt always bad

I don't see whats so good about the 60 cap >.>, I understand the time back then when the server happend to be capped 60 was awsome, but 60 is low and theres a lot of stuff we wouldn't have.

Only reason I liked 60 cap better was:
A) I could make a str hybrid without getting called noob
B) I didn't know what botting and ccf'ing were
C) I actually stood a chance of getting to the cap
D) No ice immunity.
If you managed to make no bots, ccf, and now ice immunity there i would come lol
