Err .. on Dark Inc people were more exicted that you guys are now.

Then development 'stopped' and the site went down .... Seriously don't get excited about anything .... yet.

And if it does. For all you know as soon as an emu comes out Joymax might throw the towel in the ring and call it a day.

They won't shut SRO down cuz of a private server, they still have bots. Thats 90% of SRO people anyways.

The other SRO Emu did not go near as far as this one, so there is something to be excited about.

Ya it did T_T From what I seen on this current one it's actually less advanced.

Silk Mind had all screen shots of people in game with 9th hitting each other for insane dmg . And they spawning tons of Uniques.

So far from this site they are yet to prove anything except for some lame loading menu >.>

Well .. I can't prove it as like Pure said I don't have their ss's anymore sigh. And their site is gone obviously.

But it's irrelevant in the end. I for one will not be expecting this current emu to come out. If it does they'd try to make money some way or the other.

I'll be hosting the botter server, for all those botters who complain "whah, whah, whah, this game takes too long to level and I need to pwn people right away boo hoo." On my server, everyone starts at level 90 with full sosun +13 gear: full sets all three clothes and all 5 weapons and a shield. Everyone has a GDF and you have a billion sp. C'mon botters, isn't this what you want? To be uber-pwnage?

The I can log on to the official servers and grind in peace.

Went out and bought a new motherboard, CPU, and power supply for what will eventually be a game server (hopefully a SRO Private Server). I expect to have the rest of it in by UPS on Friday. Mmmmm AMD Dual Core.

Once I get it up and running, it'll be hosting DoD and servers. If this SRO emu is ever released, I'll dedicate it to SRO only.

I have the feeling that it will end up Grims world, being a fake. Dark_Inc's emulator was real and I even tried it. The character creation was real and the default account with the lvl 42+7 sosun bow was real too, the only thing it didn't have was the mobs, npcs, and etc or else we'd already have a private server already.

I'm watching LevelMe! though, it looks promising.

Server operators could simply increase the drop rate for SoS items, or eliminate it all together in order to make people build their weapons.

Imagine grinding 3-4 times faster, with almost a guaranteed SoS drop each level.
