Most higher level botters dont bother remaking a new character after they get banned. Unless they have multiple backup accounts then I doubt they will be back for round two.

Real botters (as in non-goldfarmers)are scared of bot bands and cry when they get banned. Gold farmers do not and just make new characters.

You guys are crazy. =( You think those few people you see on the forum crying about how their char was banned make up the majority? Most player bots just start over, maybe buy a ticket and get back to 60+ in a month. But if it makes you feel better to think they all quit and JM is doing an excellent job then go ahead. What we see ingame proves you wrong anyway.

heh, I always have this problem after bot bans
I could log on fine, but after the ban it was nearly impossible all times of day for a week

What I saw on eldorado were a lot of new goldfarmers starting over. I did see stall characters from botters that got band. Of all he non-goldfarming botters out there that get band few will make a new character. Those new bots you see around are gold farmers...
one other thing mostly gold farmers get banned anyways...

Ok seriously do you see any difference ingame with the bots? NO. And ALOT of those names on the list are OLD BANS with some even going back as far as the 6x cap. If JM was REALLY trying to get rid of these bots then they would be gone by now. The bots work by using the SRO CLIENT to send packets. That could be easily patched or even blocked by a program like gamegaurd. But they put forth no effort to do anything like that.

-edit- And I'm still waiting for this compensation event we are supposed to have. Hrmm...

IF joymax was doing absolutely NOTHING, then all the servers would be packed with JUST bots, and it would be rare to see even 1 legit in game, yet they are making some progress, so that people who like to play the game like ME, can have some fun with it, so please, for the sakes of everyone, shut up and just play the damn game man

2 years of service and only like a 1000 on each server thats nothing to be proud of thats more useless then anything. By the time they get back to xian and aege some of the bots will have another 3 capped 80 chars with full sosun.

No thats the limit of how many people can log into the game at one time.

Not counting the 10000 people who try to log into the game and cannot.

and the other 5000 people who quit the game.

Don't you realize that maybe a 100 of those are player bots that are capped? The other thousands are gold bots, which will be back to gold botting in a matter of days, and double up in numbers.

You obviously are close-minded enough to see that Joymax is letting the problem get worse and worse...

The easiest solution is to close registration, give us a good event (2x exp/sp) THEN open registration. It's not like they will lose customers anyway by closing signups, I doubt they are getting new users with people hearing all the trash about this game.

I counted 45 HIGH level SOS carrying users alone that were banned last night just from persia , and those were only names that I knew , not counting other users high level friends , for you to come at me with me being narrow-minded when you obviously cant see that joymax is taking the necessary action to call it a decent effort on the bot war , then you sir ,are the one who is narrow-minded.

its just a guess but if your wireless go closer to the router to inc. your signal strength, if your not them i have no use with this post sorry

hehehe, I agree... At the end of the day, nothing is ever going to help any server problems, its the same with most companies and games, they think they can get away with bare minimum and not satisfy there customers but still get there share of money, sigh --,--

Idk man. I played WoW for 8 months and did not see one botter (My guild leader saw one, reported it and a GM banned him right after my guild leader got a response (half hour later)). And when there was a problem like a glitch in an instance we would submit a ticket... it took a GM about an hour or two depending on what time it was but they always responded.. Sometimes it was an automated message saying someone else has already reported it, but you always had an answer.

Now for 2142... EA just likes making money =\
I had to buy two copies of the game so me and my brother could pay together ¬¬

Yet i was logged in for only 5 minutes with my char around heukman den and saw more then 20 different bots run around!
It was Christmas for my bot killing guildies!
Seriously though...
They are not solving anything with the bot banning, they come back on new accounts anyway

Second, i invite you to go to hotan in alexander...full...2 hours after banlist -> Cannot connect due to server traffic. So....that's with their immense banlists . And yes, i know a lot of high lvl's by name and i didnt count too many...maybe 20-30 64+ players. And definately nobody from SacredTurks there ^^.
