almost every mob does phy attack so yes, i would use protectors or even armors. tho taoist use magic attack so protectors would be better there than armors.

i used armors and changed to protectors at dg4/5

Use Protector, untill 5D. I'm willing too get a SOS set armor, cause my PHY def is low also, but my MAG def is HIGH. Magic taoist barely do dmg too me. :)

I checked, and its true, sosun armors mag def > normal garment.

A blader attacked me after i ks-ed him for a period of time(that noob tried to ks MY giant), all what he could do was bouncing on me after kd.
imbued dmg was like 30-40hp >.<

Yes, I agree with this too. The earth taoist are mag based (fire) mobs.

I'm also a pure int at 40; I have a friend also pure int at 40; we fight together. He wears garment and I wear armor most of the way since 30. The 20% savings in mp seems to make a diff in gold. He somehow got 40% more gold than me :banghead: !!! But, armor for pure int at this lvl is a must for pvp... unless you have a set of sos garment.

finish the taoists with garment for magical defense, then after that level most of mobs will do physical damage.

The equip you wear doesn't affect the damage you do (assuming blues are identical).

I think hea means that, bcuz if he kill 1 hit he dotn even get phy dmg.. so its s good use garment for move and save mp...
I guess...

Len

Garm for the Taoist quests is a bad idea, even moreso if it's an NPC-set, what with the Earth Ghosts running around in there. Stick with prot 'till you happen to get Star/Moon/Sun Garm set.
