i think she is referring to the banlist not the player-bot relation on server what they currently were doing is make a banlist containing of 20bots per server and 1 big server clean up with over 1200bots.

making the difference between those lists smaller.

But seriously, you have to think how much work goes into this game, with the thousands upon thousands of players and bots its nearly impossible to manage it all.

Concerning the "balancing" of bots and people, something was either lost in translation, or they are trying to do what I believe should be done: Let there be some bots but only so that there wont be a massive flood of them when someone realizes all their bots are banned.

Personally bots really dont bother me much if they dont KS.
KS'ing and player bots are the only things that get to me other than that, most of those characters are just gold farming characters, and will never see the PVP playing field.

This is my thinking as to why JM is trying to find a balance between player bots and legits. They realize that no matter what there will be bots. I mean look at WoW with there big punkbutster program, they have bots still. It just happens. There is nothing they can do to prevent it so JM just excepts it. I actually like what they are doing; they realize that they can't completely iradicate every last bot so they will make a balance of them and legit players. I think its fair although many of you may disagree but I like they way JM is handling or attempting to handle the player bot situation. As for the gold bots, i think the moment anyone/thing logs in without a freaking sro_client they should be auto banned. Gold bots are the problem but i have a feeling they will always be there because there will always be someone who wants to be the best and have the best everything so they will buy gold to do that. So gold bots will always be there and so will player bots, no matter how much we all hate it the best JM can do is find a balance between the legits and the botters.

I agree with the fact that there will always be bots. But passing at least twice as many gold bots as players while running to the yeowas is rather silly imho.

and if you choose to bot your head gets replaced with a big penis in game so people know who bots and who doesn't.

I agree with that, but we could use a little more work. One thing that would really help is a reliable (spell check?) system to report botters.
Here is a list of some things that could help
*monitering created characters more closely
*Having a gm sit along one of the paths that literally hundreds of bots take everyday

and lastly
a chat filter improvement needs to made!
*a certain amount of public messages per X amount of time
*no websites can be diplayed (such as in runescape)
*and they need to find a way to stop people fromg going around the chat filters

Satman you can't really BUY a product knowing full and well what it does and then complain about it...if you don't like it then don't buy it and if you feel that you need to buy it to play don't play...its not hard. Also i hate JM they suk at banning ppl and MorningDew is just some guy getting paid to feed ppl cake answers...hes a giant pile of BS

+1. Euro will more than likely be different. As for PT, it's obvious they converted the game to P2P, accept it and play, or play WoW for cheaper.
