I hope the new trade routes encourage players to do 2~5* trades.
The chance of succeding is bigger since there are more different (and shorter!) routes to trade on and the thiefs wont all just wait at the ferry for peepz to come by

This system is going to be way better especially with 7 day penalty. Where did you get the 1087% stat?

Popping is when a highlvl thief on a transport with loot walks close besides a low level trader with 1* loot. Sooner or later the Thief will spawn high level npc thieves which will attack the trader, who's to weak to kill these and will die himself.
It's a really low way of thieving.

Will arrange point be removed? it should be cause if thieves can only act 1 job they will be usually wanted. the new system sucks for thieves

Anyways i always thought the same: what's the point of 1* trade 100% safe? where is the fun? where is the challenge? I think they should quit that protection in 1* trade. So this game would be better, more cooperation and more interaction between people because hunters would be really needed. If this is an online multiplayer game they should be focus about this.

Erm....1* protection is out but only when you hit level 40. So new players can get a feel for job system or w/e >.> After 40 there are no 1*s.

Is that new? i didn't read it before. Maybe 1 new thing for next update...
And mobiszk, momo is a full str glavie-fire (althought he uses sometimes a blade/shield too)

do you even consider that we dont trade for money, but for fun?.if i have to choose with what too do, grinding or trading, i sure as hell know what ill do. grab a few mates on vent,and go together. a lot of fun ,whereas with grinding youll be bored to death

I hate it when thiefs say: " take a risk, do a 2* or more trade"
Because more than 50% (Every route i take)when I trade i already get popped when I do a 1* trade, and when I don't get popped I always see a high lvl thief without a transport yet who looks for goods.
If I would do a 2* trade that would be impossible to survive (even when you're high lvl) do, so why should a take a risk which has 100% of failing chance ?
I asked a lot of ppl what job guild they would join after the Euro update comes, and most of them is going to join the Thief guild, especially the high lvls
I just want to be able to do a trade safe, instead of grinding all day, because I have good gear, I never have to use any potions doing a trade, so it's really fun, to just trade and make a little money.
EDIT: Ow yeah I forgot: Where on the silkroadonline.net website does it say that traders lvl40+ won't be able to do 1* trade anymore ?

If I understand correctly job items can only be equipped in towns, and this will change the whole triangular conflict much moreso in my opinion.
Recently I have been doing two and three star trades by myself, or with one other person to either scout ahead, or help kill my thieves, and I've concluded that trading is not always about having that level 80 hunter with the Sun bow.. it doesn't always have to be a battle of the strongest, you can just trade smarter.
By the way I'm only level 42 and people helping me are sometimes as low as 28.. they stay on horse back, and heal their ride every two seconds... while reporting to me if the coast is clear.
Needless to say I've been popped a lot, but this is almost always from a higher level seeing me with all these NPC thieves spawning, so s/he puts on the thief suit and comes and kills me, no contest. This opportunistic thieving will stop I think, as you must leave town with your thief ID on, and then not only find a trader, but avoid the high level hunters who are confidently cruising around looking for thieves as well.
Anyway we'll see what happens... should be fun

lol yeah his army of Golddiggers. Most hate him because he pops really low lvls. and no1 does like him on the server except the few ass kissers. He is a noob though, he use to be a big deal but its died down now.

when euro update comes out, you shouldnt need to pop one stars. according to the update list merchants lose one star protection at lvl 30 or 40 (i dont remember which) So when you reach that point its pointless to do one star trades, no profit, or protection. might as well do a multistar.
