What do you think is the percentage of players that buy gold or bot on SRO? Please dont flame me...
What can Joymax do to fix this?.. Is it impossible to fix?

I'm gonna guess over 75% do one or the other... or both.

It's not impossible to fix. Botting would be the easiest to fix. Eliminating gold farmers would be a little harder in the long run, but they could definately make it so gold is actually worth something. I mean, you know something's kinda messed up when a weapon in the game is worth more gold than your character is even allowed to carry.

More gold that player can carry?
On one of my post, a person stated that you can purchase an 700m weapon (the price is no big deal) in several weeks just grinding..
So i cant see what you mean. :banghead:

he is talking about the 1b or more worth weapons
you can only exchange 999,999,999

botting is a thing that can`t be fixed it is just a part of the game but Joymax is not making it any harder.
they simply should punish any gold buyer first follow transactions of large amounts would be as easy as tracking bots.
no gold buyers is the only solution we need in this game, there are not that many real players on each server compared to the player goldbot relation

probably on each server there are daily 70% of a whole server goldbots rest are couple hand grinders guess close to 5%-10% (maybe even less) and rest are player bots.

solution: stop buying gold

+1 -__- Gold buyers are the ones responsible for the gold farming bots.

On Babel the percent of truly legitimate players (i.e. have neither botted or paid for gold) is about 5%.

Gotta be way above 50% for each category:

3/4 buy gold.
3/4 bot (maybe not main char, but still counts even if on another char/acct)

Level 70+ = 90%+ bot.

A better question is how many legits do you think we have left?

It's a cheater's paradise on Silkroad at the moment since JM is not enforcing any rules to make things better. Us legits are dwindling in number by the hour. :(

You can't tell me that someone (who isn't capped)* can gather 500+million by doing nothing but grinding, selling the occasional sos/stall stuffs & doing a few trade runs every once in a while. A few could use item mall to make a couple of +7 weaps or other nice items to sell, but the average player will never see that much gold.

*Capped, close to it, I could see where you could have more $$ on hand, since don't have to worry about the costs of upgrading equipment.

It's real obvious when you see people online every once in a while, complaining about being broke - then the next time you see them they're like 'ZOMG i'm rich, biiiiiich', and sos'd/sun'd out, down to their underwear  . Then you ask them, 'how?' and they state the above reasons. BULL!!!! :banghead:

Well counting only the players above level 60.... at least 90% of them are currently botting or used to bot. About 75% of those above lvl 60 have bought some gold. So if you take those two into account, 98% of people have done either one.
