I've been thinking alot about it lately. It seems that the build will become even more invincible with the new skills *wink at Death2All*.

a huge amount of SP must be invested into it, but it will be worth it in the end.

Here is the layout:
Heuksal - 80. Main attack tree, together with Pacheon HP increase passive goes to about 2000 HP increase.
Soul spear soul gets upgraded to level 9 and soul spear emperor gets introduced.

SSS lv 9: 470-604(175%)
SSE lv 1: 569-731(175%) hence the damage will increase. Therefore a glaiver is left with two very strong, stun-capable skills which he can spam over and over again. Just like SSS-SST in the old days.

Pacheon - 76. enough to add most of the important skills. Strong bow Craft will be fantastically powerful. With a crit and range increase, together with reduced casting time and stun capability, it will make the strong bow series worthwhile at last. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY5SwlMns-c

Note that the strongbow casts as fast as the anti-devil.
Anti-devil strike with crit 35 increase will provide for an awsome crit. Both frequent and powerful crits.
The new lightning hawk is also available, as an addition to the classic black hawk. IMO both hawks are worth investing in: each with their own, obvious utility.
Knockback multi-arrow skills also cancel out any incoming skill. So if the build hurts and a nuker perpares his final hit on him, he casts multi-arrow, knocks the enemy back, ghost walks away and vigors to regain health, then entering combat again with Craft -> Emperor -> soul -> mars etc.

Fire - 76. Having level 7 fire passive, Flame Body trial (9% phys. damage increase) and maxed hard fire protection, this tree helps alot in every aspect, for a pure STR build. Just level 7 soul fire force is possible, but I feel this is enough as STR builds are not so imbue-dependeant as INT and hybrid builds.

Thunder - 68: This tree is not to be insisted upon as it is a pure buff tree for STR builds, rather then an attack tree, as it is for INT. 65% moving speed increase is gained. There is no real need for book 4 ghost walk. The 2 meters gained are NOT worth all the SP invested into them. Force piercing Force also plays an important part for the damage dealt, although the build is STR. Notice that it increases the character's whole magical attack, not just the imbue damage. Finally, concentration and the thunder passive increase parry ratio.
Note that I preferred speed piercing force over earth fire protection. It can be done the other way around too, with 77 fire and 67 light.

As for the grind, it's as pleasant as it gets: mind bow series to attract mobs, then ghost spears to finish off. Simple as that.

To all those building this right now: After the painful farming, a bright future awaits :)

Goddamn, when I opened this topic I thought it was gonna be retarded, but this actually looks really good.

I haven't checked required levels for certain skills yet, so I'm not sure if crit bow is maxed at 76 or not, if it's not, then maybe you could sacrifice more fire? Crit bow is damn awesome :)

Also, you should probably take earth fire protection rather than speed piercing, because you say it increases all of your magical attack, and that's correct, but the only magic you're gonna use is imbue.

Good luck man, I wanna see this build in action!

Not only imbue is magic. Magical attack:1316-1504. Piercing force influences that aswell. Note that without imbue you are dealing pure physical damage. The actual damage of the imbue is observable in the thunder imbue transfers: low, surprisingly low. So where does the rest of the damage come from, when I imbue my hits. It's the weapon's magical damage. Even if it's a physical weapon, piercing force plays an immense part. That's the reason I chose force piercing. Earth fire protection will prolly look 1337 etc.etc, but piercing force = more important IMO>

Why always worry about the cap after this cap?

Just get to be strong at this cap first, then you can think about the next cap. Wich will prob only be for another year or so.

By the time he hits the current cap the next cap will come out, rendering his build useless.

I thought that the 4th book of the ghost walk series was ANOTHER dash on top of phantom walk meaning u can cover twice the distance in different directions if needed. Would this not make it very useful for any build? Especially a bow inclusive build like this one where u could dash, knockback and stun and then if they still are able to get to u dash again and repeat?

The second dash is shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J7YEPSfsk4 as a blue streak rather than a yellow one.

Please correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

Yea that's right. Bk2 and bk4 don't stack I think. Not worth investing into. Looks cool, but that's about it.

to be honest id rather have ice instead of one of the weapon trees.

pure str bow with ice imbue and fire imbue and also mana shield like 20% should be good, same as glaive.

just use ice against non immune chinese and euro, and use fire against the immunes.

the mana shield 20% should be enough so that it helps you a bit but you still have nice MP left over, and ice defence buffs will also help along with the nice passive defence jump at lvl 60 (the frost guard series looks nice too).

i just think defence wins it lol. But thats just what i think...

Heres my friends 90 cap build:

90 Heusk
90 Pacheon
90 Fire
30 Light

Now to why he thinks it will work:

-Bow for grinding/uniques, also to pvp against INT chars, glavie against STR.
-The mag damage he loses with 30 light isn't a big deal cause hes pure str and deals mainly phy. damage
-Doesn't mind moving slow and can afford Drug of...

Hes about to finish farming 250k sp and I can tell you how his build goes from there if your interested.

The only time it poses a problem is another bowman who does non-stop phantoming, but even with that he shouldn't have to walk much to get in-range to attack the other bowman

lol, the last book of lighting will be 74% or so increase. He has to buy the drug of typhoon then to catch up, wich still is getting hard. Phantom adds that extra 22 meters, wich is not just something you just walk. Drug of typhoon is 250k and lasts 30 mins.
If you buy it all the time you pvp, you will feel it eventually, not to mention how slow you will grind. TM is allready full, and with the euro chars coming there in a while, it will be packed. Goodluck trying to get mobs if you run slow.
You will also take much more damage, lighting has a passive and a buff for youre parry ratio, wich if you didnt know is kinda important.

Go pvp and ask a force user to take all youre parry ratio away, bet you get 2 hitted by any build. Even if youre a glavier ;)
