which one should i use when i make my warrior? Please elaborate if you can, pros and cons, etc..

why dont u just use both, not that difficult they r under the same mastery. at most i think ud need a 3 gap

i wouldnt go by wat i say, or by anyone else for that matter but...i would have to say 2h sword. deals out more damage, KD (but has slower attacks ) and i think a better tanker, not sure

You can choose really, there both good ones not better than the other. Duel Axes has buffs that help defense but it does less damage than the 2 handed sword. 2 handed sword on the other hand doesn't have those buffs BUT has a passive that increase critical's AND it has tons more damage.

in 1 hit..yes

over time i think axes edges out the 2h sword cuz of the swords attack speed and those axe stun moves are nasssssssssssty

btw 2h swords crit increase is negated by 1h swords crit parry ratio passive so 1h sword ftw.

Ya but 1h sword is incredibly weak like the blader in China so 1h sword is not a very good choice. 2 handed sword is probably the best because of the damage the 2 duel axes are good but they take so many hits to kill something because they have combo's.

That's what I'm saying too. I like stuns but because they have 4 and 5 hit combos it takes forever to kill something, especially in pvp

actually i have heard 1 handed sword gets alot stronger at higher lvls (cuz of the uber buffs)

at their tanking ability probably. much like bladers right now, they would be great in party play, can tank extremely well, and in pvp probably wins because they have uber defense.

Actually I have watched a sword/shield warrior pvp in euro and he got owned about 4 times at won 1 time so thats why I dont recommend it.

how do duel axes do in pvp?

I havn't seen a duel axe pvp but I have seen a duel axe kill monsters and they do good but it takes longer for them to kill them compared to 2h sword because of the dmg difference. But they attack much quicker so that is a + for PVP cause it wont let the opponents HP revive but it will take more hits though.

2h sword: Low

1h sword: Medium

Axe: High

Attack Damage

2h sword: High

1h sword: Low

Axe: Medium

Defense

2h sword: Low

1h sword: High

Axe: Low

so basically the damage of duel axes and 2h anded sword balances out right?

edit: if they are not equal, would it be better to just go 2h sword because you sacrifice defense w/ either weapon, might as well go all out offense.

Not necessarily because in one hit you can do 1,000 dmg for example with 2H sword and 400 dmg in 1 hit with axe which the 2h sword could one hit a nuker (just an example) but with axe it would take 1-2 skill combos to kill that nuker, see what I'm saying?. But because 2H sword has a critical increase passive skill and it has VERY high dmg its very good for pvp and its amazing at tanking and party's are ALWAYS in need of a Warrior to take the hits from the monsters and keep the the healers, wizards, and bards safe.

sword and shield = amazing at tanking.

2h sword= good at tanking.

im playing both builds right now lvl 17 at a 1 gap in csro.

even with the higher damage of a 2h sword i take way more damage cuz of no shield, no defense passive, and less chance of knock back.

must note this is only lvl 17.

Ya but the sword/shield does such low damage its not worth it in my opinion because European is ALL about damage and killing your opponent before they kill you because of the pot cool down with European.
