So, I just hit 22 on my euro str-2handsword char, my warrior level and sword skills are both maxed and I was wondering what my second skill should be. Right now I have bard because of the melody which gives you 20% speed increase.
So the question is why did you pick that 2nd skill?

If i were you, i would stick with rogue/warrior, as they are both str trees.
However, most parties have a tanker.
YET, if you go rogue too, you can deal damage instead of tanking. Also wearing heavy armor.
I would go either rogue/warrior or warrior/cleric.
Warrior cleric would be good because you'll always have a party

Nice to see you around.
I do a Dual Axe/ Bard build right now. I like it because i first off cant live without the March thing that gives movement speed. Also my guild doesnt really have any bards, so it helps to be able to buff people here and there.
So personally, I'm happy with Bard. Can tank and help buff people as well.

Why do people INSIST on getting a second mastery and needing to farm when given the option to NOT farm!
If anybody needs me, I'll be in the Angry Dome!
But seriously, I'd just stick to one mastery.

yea thats what i'm doing . .imo i don't see a reason for like a rogue to get a sub mastery ... specially if it can't get maxed out all the way ...

How does this help someone lookin for advice on a euro second class?
Anyways...I know alot of warriors seem to be taking cleric sub atm...personally i think bards more practical since warriors with that heavy armor are sloths. If your usually in a balanced party sub's are useless cause if someones main is your sub its not likely you will be using it.

I have thought of going rogue for my 2nd skill because at level 30 u get the stealth skill. What exactly do you think that will do? I also have thought about going cleric for those same partying reasons. Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming

i am a warrior/rogue and it is very good so far
i use crossbow with the rogue and 2handed with the warrior
i can deal alot of damage with the crossbow cos rogue has a skill where you sacrifice half your hp and defense for more damage and if i hit a party mob from far away i can take half its hp before it gets to me by that time i have changed to my 2handed sword so i get all my hp and defense back

Rogues have two buffs of this kind, one for daggers (which sacrifices defense) called "Dagger Desperate" and one for Crossbow (which, as said, sacrifices defense and HP) called "Crossbow Extreme", if i am not mistaken. They are lvl 20 buffs (Most of the important skills on euro masteries go like this: lvl 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. Each 10 levels, though sometimes there's some skills in-between).

There's crossbow extreme and dagger desperate, both at level 20, both give you 75% physical damage increase and 18 physical attack power increase, crossbow extreme sacs 50% hp and 40% physical defense, dagger desperate sacs 75% physical and magical defense. They both kinda suck for party play since you get raped by mobs and deal damage a wizard could equal or beat.
I'm 2 handed/dagger rogue only because I wanted to make masks and got bored of the 3 warrior skills. But you don't have to choose a sub class to save sp.

Thanks, i'll be sure to try one of those out now that I know what skills to look for. Okay, another question . When u use Dagger Desperate or Crossbow extreme can u switch back too 2handsword while your physical attack is at 75% increase

I'm bard and will only use 1 mastery tree for now. Bard has a lot of skills to keep up with and using a second tree will just be too much for me to handle. Maybe I'll get cleric later just so I can res, but then I don't want to waste any sp since I barely have enough for my bard tree.

I'm a Rogue / Warlock hybrid. Breaking the mould ;D
Initially I wanted Rogue / wizard (wizard having the invisibility purge for party infiltration) but since its a lvl 80 skill I thought nah, not going to happen. So I thought of an alternative ie Warlock. Now before I hear you saying but thats an Int char, stop and think why I took it (not taking all the masteries from Warlock btw, just the relevant ones). With a focus char game plan, and a theme to work around, my Rogue / Warlock hybrid can work well enough with synergistic skills (although that will be known only to myself ) has a specific role in team play, but more so for other interesting missions .

I understand what your saying BUT have you looked at some of the rogue skills? Your not gonna need EVERYTHING. It's good to have a second mastery. Something that makes you different from everybody else. One skill in Warrior is a spell that makes you share damage with the party. Why would I wanna inflict damage on the party . Int's have enough trouble having only 300-500hp from levels 1-30. LoL. I'm str thats what us tankers are for. At least I think so

1. The buff will wear off if you change weapons. So you get your defense and max hp back (But your current hp will be as it is. So if you have 500/500 with buff on, you change weap, new hp = 500/1000)
2. I wouldn't agree with the wizards equaling/hitting more than rogues. Being a rogue myself, this might be a bit biased but I can tell you, when I crit, it hits quite a bit above a wizard. Crit + Zerk = 1500 more than Wizard's zerk (they dont get crit). Zerk alone = 500 less than wizards zerk. <--- This is at lvl 28.

Is it just me or have you guys also noticed some changes on the skill requirements and some skill level acquisition requirements? I was originally planning to do my sub class early on as well, but after the inspection it seems that it's not very beneficial anymore as the skills, even passives, becomes very EXCLUSIVE to each class.
So for now, I figured I should focus first on my main masteries and worry about my favored sub class later. Mind you, it's hard to de-level skills, time consuming and costly (gold/$$$), so I suggest you guys should put more time on researching what you want to take up as sub mastery.
Here are some of my suggestions tho:
Wizard/Cleric - I think that's the best complimentary class on both ends.
Warrior/??? - Haha, Secret...

+1 On the wizard/cleric.... In a level 80 guild war or job war just stay back, put on cleric rod and do Pure Offering, then heal yourself with Holy Recovery. Then pop staff back on and just nuke away along with awesome skills like mesh root lightning impact (10s stun and 10s no skills!).

i know the warrior skill you mean (can't think of the name). The skill isn't meant to be used to protect yourself, it's meant to share the damage a wizz/cleric gets when they get a bit too close to the action

Actually I thought a Wizard's nuke + zerk = normally there normal nuke times 2, so if a wizard nukes 1000+ at lvl 24 + zerk = 2000 damage or more. Damage is tied with a rogue even when they are using the attack increase
