Hi, i might make a bow but i heard that the 70:70 is the only good build for bow cause the bow is a hybrid weap.. but
anyone already try it and reached lvl 64 at least with that build?
cause i must know if its realy worth the time and if its a pwning build more than the pure str?
i know i will crit lower than the str but my dmg will still high without crit cause i got high int so my imbue does more dmg..
i need good advice of ppl who already try it and get high with that build please.

Im level 64 going for the 70/70 build but my magic balance is kind of low right now. but not too high i fogot how much magic balance i had.

but is a cool Build and now the i got mana shield is a lot easy to owned.

Nuker=My Warm-s Up
Glavie=Anoying Stunt

So far everyone i have fight is not abvle to beat me.i have fight my friend glavie a lot of time only reason he use to kill me was because the stunt.
not the i got mana shield is easy to kill him and i can tank a lot.

my magic def is almost 1000+Mana shield 40% Nuker is not a problem at all.
so far only 1 person my 2 levels higher than me beat me.
only because she keep freezing me so i was not able to move at all.

i should get my 300k of sp by next month so far i got 17k of sp(Lame)
once im done farming i should get to level 80 Quick and at level 80 i be 80/80. and i will post my result.

im lvl 66, 69/71 build
deal higher damage than a lvl 80 on bunwhangs.
him 7k dmg KD, downstab 9k
me strongbow 11k dmg

You cant compare yourself to a blader, even if the blader is 80.

However the 70:70 build seems to be a good bow build, I still prefer the pure str. But ever since the update the 70:70 build is doing well.

The point on wich I bump my head into is that they actually need to be high level to be fun, atleast in my eyes. You need the mana shield, and you need the kb and stun to survive. That is as far as I can see, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

There damageoutput is as high or higher then pure strs, they crit as hard as pure strs. But they will have more probs killing even matched pure str builds in garment.

Yeah i kind of a paying fighting glaviers when you got full garment on they hit pretty hard on you. thas why im thinking of going full sos 8d Protector so i can still handle nukers and handle pure str player's.

You are basically correct. My damage output is considerably stronger than a pure str bow. My crits are very hard. And yet my lack of HP and no disabling moves put me at a huge disadvantage.
Im lvl 58.
If I don't crit my higher average damage is not enough to kill anyone, even though it is noticeably higher than a pure strengths. Well I can kill pure int spear without crits in 1-3 hits, but I think anyone could do that.

I don't pvp much but I have better gear and I am fully farmed then most people and I have a hard time with 1 vs 1.

I just got the mana shield and it is awesome. At 35% I can tank like crazy, but once my opponents get enough sp to get it as well I doubt I will be able to kill them, It will probably just be a pot war for 2 min.
With all that being said it is not a bad build. I enjoy it a lot. But I would not recommend it for someone who is all about pvp. I wouldn't recommend pure str bow either. Until you get knock back and stun I think we are disadvantaged.

Yup, ever since I have knockback arrow everybuild has a hard time killing me. And that is even when I am badly farmed.

If you wanna be a bower and instantly rock in pvp, go str and get youre self high crit bows. Dont care if they are +3+5/sos or. For example I would go for a 32+3 crit 12 bow before I would get a SoS32 crit 4 bow. You level to fast to really care about the bow and the crit will get you victorie in pvp ^^.

If you want a build that gives you more challanges, go hybrid. You need to pay more attention any time, however keep in my mind that you will indeed have a hard time ^^.

70:70 may be a good build, but I much prefer STR hybrid. After all, you do need to maximize your dmg AND benefit from bow's critical after all. 70:70 is INT heavy build, which I don't personally like to see used with a bow.

Actually I only have limited data but it seems that int hybrids crit harder then there str counterparts. When I stop being lazy I will update my thread with the new information.


And just to clarify. I dont think low level bow works in pvp. I just think that more hp will allow the fight to last a little longer.

Im not saying it is bad either, Just that 1vs1 is not its strong point. I have killed many people in cape. But 9 out of 10 times its because my overall gear is better than theirs.
SOS+5 Bow crit10. With sos gear +3 with excellent blues.

And I don't use a shield when knocked down or any of the little pvp tricks. I do have phantom maxed but lag often fights me when I try to use it.

Anyway this is my opinion based on my experience.

A bow should be doing good on every level if you have decent gear and are fighting people in gear you can compare. Atleast that is my opinion ^^.

I never really had trouble killing people in pvp, atleast not untill I started to *play with the big boys*, who actually know how to play. I loved it when I was a level 5x and was fighting glaviers who did nothing but combos. I was a pvp god in my eyes. Then I hitted 64 and suddenly lost every fight I ever was in for a while. It was a good lesson

Well i have a pure str bow atm, and i really like it. But still with my sun i have some trouble to kill ppl with sungear. Now i've been working on a 70:70 bow ,lv71 atm. It really does more dmg, but u also die very quickly. But when i hit 76, i will have stun+ KnockBack, so it might be good now. I will post some pics/movies of it when im lv 80.
