Well as I was waiting for the big LY I was talking to a friend, Mon. He is lvl. 80 S/S and we were talking about our builds. He said he was Hybrid with 6 str (2 lvl's) on his character. I told him I was Hybrid too but I was gonna have 40 str points at lvl. 80 on my character. He told me that I wouldn't be able to kill anything. As far as masteries go it'll be:

Bicheon 80

Fire 80

Light 80

Cold 60

i'd say you are adding to much str but u will be able to kill.

He is right. Unless you have a sun sword, you wont really be killing much. Best hybrid for s/s is 90% naked balance. That means putting int 7 lvls of str.

I speak from experience, Ive had a 85% naked balance char and it couldnt kill. However, this was b4 the new skills came out. So maybe with the new skills you will have higher dmg and be able to kill.

73+7 sword must own :roll:

.If a lvl 80 str gets 10k+ from a int build,that has 45 str,then he should destroy his gear,and npc the elements,and send a bugreport to joymax,to delete his char.Dont go hybrid btw,full int dont need any extra str,you got mana shield,iron wall.That's enough to tank.

you both have bad builds :roll:

he added too little str to make a difference, and in reality he just hurt himself by cutting his damage for like 300 more hp.

and you're adding too much, damage will be soooo low, but with snow shield youll be a tanking god for 2 minutes.

Actually 40 str would give you 1.5k HP. That just tells me how much you know, no offense though.

I've done some calculations and i'll lose between 500-1k dmg per nuke. I will try to organize a post of what I will use and I will be wearing protector. As a matter of fact I'm making a guide on how to make a Hybrid S/S charcter that can tank and kill.

I think you SHOULD be able to kill alot, you'll have a 85% mag balance naked I believe, that should be plenty sufficient.

yeah typo it's 72+7 not 73 :roll:

and I was going pure int and I'm thinking about getitng 10 lvl of str cause we have some pure int in our guild and even with full sun set and sun weapon they still die fast with the new skill, pure int use to rock before but now it's hybrid time

oh and im pretty sure the archer was wearing garm caus ei sold him a +4 or +5 fully pimped garm chest

I was level 54 before the "incident". I was able to kill absolutely every character at my level or below, except for 2 characters on my server. I didn't even have any sos. I had a 4 gap, not very well farmed at all :S, but I was still good

If you have fully blued gear, and at least a +3 weapon you should be able to kill everyone.

I, by the way, didn't have fully blued gear, only like 25 int or something on my gear.

Well I have lvl 64 Sos Sword +4 and Shield. I am lvl. 69 and one SoSun crown +4 Full blued. Most is stuff is nicely blued except for a NPC shoes (waiting for the lvl. 70 shoes)

i am having no trouble killing a lvl 71 character my nuke hits them about 6k and my kds are 4k each but i am only lvl 71 not 80 :roll:

anyway i do think i'll be able to kill with 85% magic balance at lvl 80 (especially now with the effects of the lightning chain)

i killed meh lvl 68 full sos with 68+7 spear easily

i wear full +3 and have very low lvls buff btw

Yes, im 80 hybrid nuker with the same build your going for, Alps server. First of all, your friend with 6 str isnt too bright. 6str isnt enough to make a difference in hp / phy def... 40 is good. With my +7 sword i hit burn_up, as said before, with a 13.7k nuke, and ive hit a full sun glaiver in prot with a 13k nuke(lilk). Im undefeated on alps server in 1v1 and even done 3v1 against 80s and won. Ive only lost to a full sun int nuker Orlin -.- grrrr but hes mad whack in suns. With a sun sword, i could kill anyone.

Im sure someone will still argue this, but i can give u first hand experience on it. So take it as you like.

It depends.... your nukes wouldn't be as strong, but you will be a lot more of a worthy adversary in PVPing than ur friend.
