Since yesterday the connection to SRO from my area has gone from bad to really bad.
Some of you should remember the internet outage that we experience last year. Users from M'sia, Singapore,
Philipines and some asia countries were the affected bunch. It was caused by the earthquake in Taiwan which break the underground cabling system. It took 2 months to fix.
Peru had a 7.9 magnitude earth quake the day b4 yesterday. I hope everything is ok in Peru and also I hope that the quake is not what caused the outage. Because if it is.... Its gonna be another long wait b4 I can play normally again.
For ppl who is experience Lag that is unlike the ones that you had b4, you are probably having the same lag as me.
Normal lag is tolerable and you can still play. Lag cause by internet Outage are diferent, u can't play at all, even if you can play, it will not last for 1 minute and login is a problem.
To verify, just try to surf the internet, if surfing the internet is ok, then try to visit
http://www.silkroadonline.net if its really slow or the page doesn't show. It means theres connection problem between your com and the Joymax server.
Im from Malaysia. I hope ppl could post here if you are having lag problem thats not like the usual ones informing where you're from.
Then, when everything is back to normal, mayb u can inform us too.
Some of my Guild Mates are from the Phil. and I don't see them complain about lag. Must be your ISP.
