i guess ill tell some more about hybrid swords:
pure ints: when they have armor i eat them with no problems, when protector its a little harder but i still own them most of the time. with garment on its hard to kill.
glavie: most of them have garment and they have so much hp so its a little hard to kill them, especcialy when they have nice garments on i do sucky damage
blade: they are just annoying

i cant kill them unless they have n00bgear or 3/4/5+ levels lower then me
bowmen: hmm if they have knockback its pretty annoying to fight them but their damage is not that much unless they have sun bow their crits are pretty scary though. i dont have much to say about bowmen because i didnt fight alot of them
i have +3 set and +5 sword i have almost no str on my gear and 45 int so i have to do some alchemy my level is 77 btw
If you are int or heavy-int hyb, your set is just +3 and you have almost no str on your gear I cant believe that you own as you said. Basically, any int or heavy int build with almost no str on their gear can be 1-hitted for all the others builds.
On topic: you can get good fun with both builds and both can be very good at pvp. With and hybrid bow you can have "peak" damage when its crits considerably higher than s/s, but with appropiate gear, a good shield with critical 100 blue and snow shield you can tank a lot with the s/s.
With new skills implematation, bow now has stun and critical increase on their stronger skill so it will not be very unusual have a double crit and you can pvp with just 2 last books of strong bow and devil arrow to have always 350% damage and complemetenig with 5-arrow combo to cancel attacks. If you go with s/s you can cast inmediatly snow shield, go directly to tank with new chains to provoke division and bleed status effects, and with those effects the damage of the sword can be higher than the damage of the spear.
So both builds can be deadly but it depend on you which you you choose.
