I'm more worried about PvE than PvP, because in PvP, I'll just nuke and phantom. I don't care if I lose.

My question is: Is S/S more beneficial than spear in pve?

Also: S/S is pure and spear is hybrid yes?

A: Spear has higher magical attack so will hit harder.
Depends intirly on your build though. Pure int and spear is a big no no in pvp.

if you wanna grind fast take spear and go full int, you won't really have any problem if you use snow shield

people are wrong when they say its better to grind with spear, in fact when i was still s/s on lvl 64 i could tank countless mobs in cave, and get multiple kills while spear ints usually are killing 1 by 1, of cource cause i am hybrid(pretty heavy one) i have 8k hp , and i am able to tank mobs higher than me but still when u have shield it feels like u r with condom xD

well, hybrid int sworders can be really really good..
Hybrid int spears too but they need to have less mag bal.

Well, if ur pure int then if u go spear, u can get one crit hit by giants when u grind..
with sword maybe not dunno.

you can't lol + you should use snow shield while fighting giant and you won't die at all

Id say that most ppl that like him are either fans of TRUE music or are just romantic ^_^
He sings every kind of song tho, so everyone can like his songs, but generally those ppl that like his erm, "rock songs" usually end up buying his album and then dont like it

So, pure int better with s/s imho, if you wanna go hybrid, maybe spear is better, but s/s can be good too.
Just lvl, go pvp, and see if you need more str or more int, and slowly ull see urself building a very nice char ^_^
