ok, you cannot sue Joymax for any of the topic starters "findings". They do in fact do all of those things. Do you think they dont test a new version release before it comes out (ie: Euro)? I assure you if they didn't we would all go weeks without playing SRO.

As far as i know Joymax is a Korean company, so therefore they actually have to be violating Korean laws, not American or Europe laws.

This is a stupid topic, many kids talk about "sueing" Joymax out of frustration with bots or unstable gameplay (usually do to the users computer specs). Companies dont get sued for providing poor service on a free product, it urs choice to make it a pay to play game. If you dont like it, find another bot infested free game.

Furthermore I have no interest in monetary compensation...what I want is JM to be more pro-active themselves against the botting and gold buying community...if that takes a court order to force them to do so then so be it...

If someone was really serious about suing Joymax they could. Its not ludricous. Those who post something similar to give up, you're stupid, can't sue Joymax just don't want take the time and resources needed to make a case.

NCSoft, Far bigger, more successful and well known company has been sued for hundreds of millions. They have already been sued and lost with Lineage 2. As far as I know another class suit is in process against them.

Just cause we don't pay monthly fees, we still pay. Where money is paid, and the Company does not hold up to its own agreement, there can be a law suit.

Just a question of whether YOU want to spend the TIME and RESOURCES to make a case. Don't make cough out saying, its a free game. Cause for most of us, its not free. Silkroad would not continue if it weren't for us spending our money in the item mall.

For vast majority of players its not free. If there is currency exchanged, something was paid for. Its not free.

ok i have evidence, im addicted to it and cant stop playing, i start playing at like 10pm and i have to get off because my parents wake up to go to work. And people might be like WoW if they get scammed/hacked/die they might commit suicide, but im not like that.

People our end should keep up the deal, even thought you probably don't bot, about half the people on each server do it.

Still, i don't think that they should be sued, the bugs and errors aren't that servere. (In some cases. )

They should employ more staff, and someone said that it's a free game, i bet she pays for the items on it, i'm sure if you payed for items on it, you'd want something to be done about the errors, and bugs that you were getting.

Joymax did all of the mentioned things on the list.

Its true we are a part of their potential customer group. But think this way, u cant go to a grocery store, taste their food, then go back and sue them just because the food tastes like shit.
