I guess people will never learn that in role-playing games there IS NO BEST build, just different builds that suite different playing styles and player's needs :)

Today I like full str glaive, tomorrow I'll like euro wizard...

But neither full str glaive nor euro wizard can deal with any problem. They all have their advantages and their weaknesses... and that's acctually THE POINT of mmorpg - using different characters in a group (a party) to compensate for their individual problems :)

So, if you wanna take "the best build in the game", just ask yourself do you like a sword or a fireball today

Don't want to start a riot, but thats not necessarily true :D

The "best build" or best class is usually referring to the one that will be overplayed by many users because its the "favor of the month" where everything blends so perfectly with that char, that hes able to dominate in 1v1 no matter who the opponent is...might not exist in sro but this is what the 'best build' or 'best class' is usually talking about ;)

Favor of the month is also when the ppl who made the game give a certain character a very powerful skill without giving any type of equivalence to other classes to balance it out (for ex: stealth and no stealth detection) balance it out...of course....like i mentioned above i don't think thats sro.

if there was a best build, then everyone would be that build. Then it wouln't be the best.

Like glaives. There are so many glaives, it turns into a pot war. unless one has the +7 sos

flavor of the month
suddenly but temporarily popular. This rap artist is pop music's current flavor of the month.
Etymology: based on the custom of selling a different special flavor of ice cream (= frozen sweet food) every month

From "the free dictionary", first google hit. It's flavor.

This is an old american custom so it may not be a phrase used in other countries, thus easily misunderstood and transmogrified.

I knew that >.< i used to use flavor all of the time but i started using 'favor' because its a sign that the makers seem to like that class and think that class needs a boost so they pretty much overpower it....

But anyway...yeah

Rogue/cleric seems to be the top dog atm...

Rogue seems to rely on getting the first hit, since CE and DD gimp the def capability. Still, with a cleric sub, you can negate that weakness for 45 sec and give yourself a good heal over time, negating the pot delay.

However, this build requires a 5-6 lvl gap (you should get ALL rogue skills). For that reason, I'm going to make a Chinese Lightning char just so I can lvl fast and earn lots of gold. Never had high lvl char... :( :(
