Dude powerleveling is in almost every version of SRO, its in kSRO, cSRO, iSRO (thats all the SRO's I have tried )

Must be a typo, kSRO and cSRO still can do powerleveling...

"powerleveling" is there to address the moaning and whining out there about the amount of grinding in sro. if u made it to level 80, will you really be enthusiastic in making another level 80 going through the same thing again? it's meant to help. it's not botting. it can help to retain certain group of players and more motivation to stick to the same server where they started.

did cSRO get the new european skills and stuff update yet ??/

Hopefully this will be implemented in the near future and put an end to the moronic power leveling that is happening all over SRO.

No matter which idiot tells you it's ok to power level someone, I'll tell you it's a crappy to power level anyone because they is exactly what people expect now, they create a new build and expect to be power leveled.

Went to help a friend with her Goria quest, there was a moron there power leveling cheating other players, the idiot was taking all the freaking quest monkeys, and my friend got ks'ed twice while doing her very difficult kill against the monkeys.

Power leveling, whether from gold sites, whether in-game is shitty game practice, it's for lazy bastards who don't really want to play this game at all. The game is full of losers like that, people who will tell you there is nothing wrong with PL.

I cross my fingers so that shitty practice is ceased.

And no, there is ZERO good arguments to support PL, it's a game destroyer point blank.

Actually, I would say no, depending on if I can actually kill the mobs the lvl 80 is going to grind on for me. I've turned down power leveling offers before. It's painfully slow leveling up as a pure str blader who only has about 5 hours (at best) a week to grind, especially considering my light/fire/force skills are about 15 levels below me, but I like the satisfaction of being able to gain my exp myself.

I'd be willing to grind in an 8 man party with some lvl 80s as long as I can participate in the actual killing. Can't go all day though. I normally only have about an hour at a time to play. Then it's back to town to stall while I go to work or to sleep.



Well as an inactive player myself, I'll say... do us inactive players even deserve a high lvl character, in the same way that a very active player deserves a lvl 80? Active players (those that don't bot/PL/etc) work very hard to get to a high level. As an inactive player, we really don't work hard at all. Yes while we're logged on, we work hard, but that work is nothing compared to what active legits do.

So since you're inactive, you think you should be able to get to a high level faster than an active player does?

I'll still say that sitting on a rudolph afk getting power leveled by a high lvl is very close to botting. It gives you the same result without 3rd party software. You get to go to a movie or whatever you want while your character gets leveled. AFK rudolph PL FTL.

Actually, I was in drey7000's exact theoretical situation on Xian the other day. A capped player distribution-partied me and then asked me if I wanted to join his academy and get powerleveled. I of course said no, and when he asked why not I said it was a personal choice.

You will be surprised to find there are still a lot of people out there who don't have to be capped with full Sun gear to have fun.

Well the only time i was "power leveled" was when a lvl 50 guild mate joined a party with me at bunwangs and while i tanked she would kill them mad fast, but yeah i was still helping.
I agree with having the satisfaction of gaining your own levels, but if i will be offered power leveling i will be honest. i would say yes. i mean, he would only be doing me a favor. and after a while i would ask him to stop, i wouldnt keep someone powerleveling me for a whole day cause that would just be unfair on the person. But say i have had one of those days where i couldnt find not even 1 good party and lost more exp than i gained, and seeing bots running around non stop, then yeah... i would say yes.

Agreed. There are plenty of ways to have fun without being capped with full sun. Personally, I think it would get boring to be all the way at the top like that. It might be fun at first seeing how powerful I'd be with full sun capped at 80, but after a while, 1-hitting everyone would get boring. Not so much of a challenge.



Changing spots on the map isn't always the best solution. There's only so many places you can go and grind the right level mob. What do you do when the high-spawn mujigi areas are covered in KSing nuker/bowmen bots, and the lower-spawn mujigi areas have 8-man power leveling parties going? There's not much more room to grind.

It's fine grinding next to an 8-man party that you're not a part of, as long as those members stick to their own mobs and leave you alone.



It's not illegal, just a bit unfair to those of us that actually work hard to get our characters to the level they're at on our own.

Oh and no, I'm not pissed at all or scared PL'ers will ks me, they were ks'ing her not me, as for far as I am concerned, it's easy to destroy a PL team, just follow them around and hit their PT monsters and that's it, everyone will get mad

PL'ing is for lazy losers with no skills who will come here and have the balls to post things they do with their PK builds as if THEY did what they did when it'S actually a stranger who gave them their levels.

Many of us here fully agree that PL'ing is for losers, many of us believe that to gain levels you must PLAY this game and not stand back out of danger waiting and piling levels doing nothing.

I do remember that, at that quest sungsung spot, what I did is go and gather a few golems, bring them to the losers that were waiting in the river and killed the entire team. What's pathetic is that the PL was a freaking bot the bot just kept on killing its sungsung eventhough the entire team was dead.

hahahaha and what does the PL team do when the bot starts humping a tree? Time to die!

You have to face that your an hater , that only have fun ruining other ppl game . I think sro will be more funny and clean without ppl like you that goes around to find the way to kill/ks other ppl , pls unistall sro for the benefits of us all , or change your gameplay and be nice with other ppl in game .
