Glaviers : SSE, SSS and mars
Bladers : KD, stab, chain
INT s/s : KD, stab, nukes
INT spear : SSS, mars and nukes. Get your opponent stunned then nuke, mars
Bows : The new skills, phantoms and repeat skills

i dont remember using a tactic
when i had a glaive.... i just killed and got killed....

when that doesn't work they cry and say they died cause of lag

Quit acting like glaives are the only build who spams. Every build has at least one thing to spam. Like rogues spam Dagger Desperate, Blades spam KD+Stab, INT's spam nukes, SSS and/or KD+Stab etc...

the topic title is tactics of glaivers, why would we talk about nething else but glaivers?

DD is a buff that last like 11 min...you can't spam that

Glaives are the king of spam though you'll rarely see them do any move other than Soul spear and ghost spear so its more like 123123123123

i remember i was at dh watching some pvps and found this couple of glaivers pvping, they even chatted while fighting each other.
they were like

glaiver #1 "lvl?" spams skills

glaiver #2 "74" sss

glaive #2 "n u?" kept spamming.

glaive #1 "76" sss, 123123123.

glaive #2 "nice" 8908098098

so boring...

Which Dagger skill is the one that a rogue sneaks up on someone and does like this weird pullback charge thing and stab? I think they're usually in invisiblity when they do this.

I apologize if the rogue can kill everyone in one hit...its not his fault he has amazing damage he was just made that way. And personally unless im jobbing i love to use ALL my combos/skillz in pvp but i doubt it if anyone can go through them all and come out alive

everybody stf up about ur build being the best. Every build have their strenght and weakness. No build is a no brainer build noob. Just because glavie is better at pvp and u have to be jealous about it...stf.id00t

I'm not losing anything. I hate seeing people flame on other build. If you don't know pvp is all about gear and weapon than ur a noob.

every1 knows gear counts for 90% of pvp. they're talking about what skills to use with what char.

I've never played a high level glaiver but I'm thinking there is some tactical aspect with the skills.

Correct me if I'm wrong:

You could start with Flying Dragon flow (or whatever its is). Not useful though when fighting nuker or bow.

Obviously might be best to start with soul spears and hope for stun.

When stunned, use combos. When stunned the opponent can interrupt the combo and they do more damage then single hits, right?

And finish with Ghost spear mars, since it's prolly the fastest skill with big damage. I mean once you've pounded your opponents hp down, there's no use hitting him with Soul spears, since they're kinda slow and give the opponent an extra second to pot.

Ghost spear should be always used as a finishing blow because the delay in that skill comes after the hit, not before it.

As I said, I'm not a glaiver myself. I'm just thinking here

SRO is not a 'brain' game. It's grinding and getting gear while enjoying the pretty graphics. You'll spend more time trying to keep track of the prices of things and doing alchemy than worrying about what tactics to use.

As far as "fun", that's a personal thing that only you can figure out. You may have to start a couple characters and try them. It takes months and months to get to high levels. A couple of weeks trying different characters is a small investment. This is NOT a casual game.

I think pure characters are boring, myself. I'm having fun with a hybrid glaive... who also uses a bow for some farming... just for a change. I also have a s/s nuker that I like... slightly hybrid with a few points of strength for extra HP. Having two characters to bounce between makes for slower leveling, but it's more interesting.

End game in SRO doesn't look very promising, so I'm just enjoying the journey. People always want to hurry and become high level so they can be the L337 h4xor doodz that pwn everything only to find that nobody owns anything. And from what I've been reading, those that do pwn much of the time get bored and leave.

This game is cool and entertaining, but I have no delusions about owning anybody in pvp. I'm happy to grind and see what the next monsters are going to be like and look cool in the next set of armor.

I am a hybrid int spearman, 1str:3int... hybrids int are very good against all kind of builds this doesnt mean you can kill everyone. It just means you can do both tanking and nuking other builds. At lvl90 cap, you need lvl90 spear, lvl90 fire, lvl60 ice, and lvl60 lighting. This is assuming youre wearing amor. Amor has good phy defense so you need less ice, but its weak against mag attack so you need fire skill to compensate for the lost of mag defense. Also, fire nukes are stronger too. Now for garment, lvl90 spear, lvl90 lightning, lvl70 or lvl80 ice, and lvl 50 fire or lvl40 fire. Reasons, garment has good mag protection so get ice for better phy defense. Using lightning skill with garment will make you run fast like hell and the nukes + the passive skill(increase mag attack) will give you a strong nuke. DONT USE PROTECTOR IT IS GAY!!!!! THE 9TH DEG PROT IS GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

wow guys. I got a lvl 78 glavie char and i pvp 80s of all builds and its just a pot war..but i have great gear no suns. I would go glavier takes a while to make but they hard to kill. id make a hybird glavie.
