Wait he had a valid point? Was it the ever popular captain obvious quote that "higher lvls can kill lower lvls" or was it that god awfull idea that jobbed players should only be able to attack their own lvl. If he thinks the trade system is farked now. He hasn't seen anything till they implement his system. Then he will be whining that he can't job because he can't find ppl his lvl.

Im not saying that higher lvls killing lower lvls is a "god awful idea." I never said it was. Im saying its unfair because of that. Sure, I cant stop higher lvls killing noobs-thats impossible. But the fact that noobs will have to grind even MORE after reaching lvl 20 is ridiculous. Its unfair to anybody. Think about it-as a hunter, youre practically useless until you reach at least the mid-30s. It goes the same with theives. Its virtually impossible to do these jobs. You could almost say its a monopoly of high lvl players, who often stand around at the entrances of cities, killing each other.

I am dealing with it. Im simply calling for a change to the system because its flawed, as well as listening to other ppl's ideas or opinions. Im planning to grind legit forever. And no, the current tri-system is flawed. Read my above posts.

if u expect jobbing to be fair at lvl 20 in a game that's been out for 2 yrs and the cap is 80, then u shouldn't be playing.

this game's all about lvls.

It is the nature of the game. And they can't change it without ruining the game. I am sorry you have difficulty playing the game. But some of us do just fine robbing from those 30 lvl higher than us. Nothing better than the 80 sun bots reaction as he tries to figure out where the goods are going and uses invisibility detect lvl 1 to try and find a rogue. I stop to laugh before I leave with their goods.

WHAT FLAW!!??!?!?!

In real life and in game, a robber wouldn't go up to a defenseless person and say, "HMM, this guy is weak and probably can't fight back, I shouldn't attack/rob/whatever him."

Here, I have TWO, count them, TWO great solutions to your so called issue:

1. GO FACKING GRIND!

- This will allow you to be higher level, and thus, would allow for you to be able to participate in the fun that the others are enjoying.

or..

2. Start a character on a server when it is freshly released.

- There's no 80's when you are still Lv10, grind up, and keep up, with the botters, maybe even be able to job with the best of them early on. ;]

Personally, I think Joymax is just trying to simulate the real world. At that time, no thief will let a trader go just because he just started trading. No hunter will let a thief go because he just started robbing.

well this ain't the real world ... it's a game

jm's obviously got something right, there are 30k or whatever players, but the question is what could be done to improve the game.

Fact: there is nothing much to do till high levels, except grind.
Fact: jobbing (aside from < lvl 40 trader, > 70 anything) is just plain pointless. You go off have some fun, die a bit, kill a bit, and go back to the grind.
Fact: 30k or whatever players play this game in spite of jm, not because of them.
Fact: thinking you're jobbing at lvl 32 because your lvl 80 mates help you is deluding yourself.

The triangle can be improved.

The best way to get around not being at the cap is to have friends ...

Even a level 10 can scout and help look out for thieves ... level 50s and 60s can exchange insults at the city gates with high level thieves and keep them distracted. The best times for a trade run are when there is a job war at DW or Jangan ... just use the other gate is all or wait for the hunters to be having the upper hand.

The game is still fun below the 80 cap ... you just have to work harder and have a sense of humor ... and know when running away is the best option. Too many low levels have gotten lazy from all the power leveling and gold buying perhaps. :P

Only thing different for me would be to change back to being about to suit up anywhere not just in town. You can't suit up and leave town if there are lots of hi level jobbers hanging around the gates (which there are usually in DW anyway). If I was a thief on the silkroad, I would keep my thief suit in a satchel, appear to be grinding and then put it on when I wanna attack a trade. Same thing with hunts.....and I guess traders(except why flag out out in the middle of nowhere unless maybe you want to kill a noob thief.

But anyway, and I will state what I and others have said before: grinding grind boring grinding till the cap (or at least 6x-7x) as fast as you can is all I hear. You cant do anything fun until then, can't pvp, cant job, can't war, you should not enjoy or do quests (except good xp/sp) ones because they just slow you down, don't chat cuz it just slows you down.............wow sounds like a pretty boring game for a year or more for legits AND THEN THE KILLER....."Wow, now I am level 7x and I am so bored, gaining xp/sp is horribly slow, there is nothing to do, man I am bored I think I am gonna QUIT or maybe start a new character".....................lol wow you wasted all the time and fun along the way to get to a level where you are now as bored as you were when you were grinding at level 38. What a frakin joke !!!!!..................

I know there are some who enjoy there level cap but there are also equal numbers that end up quitting or getting completely bored once they reach the cap. My advice, enjoy the GAME along the way isn't that why many of you are playing .......try everything out.........man it's free (granted you don't buy silk) have fun.
