no. protect trades for npc exp!

Not really, but if you didn't the trade wouldn't get to the destination and you wouldn't get the hunter experience when the trader sells his goods.

You also get exp when the trader turns the loot in. You must be in the party with them as they do..

Well, killing thieves is part of the job, so you may as well take it.

Most of your hunter xp will come from when traders sell their goods.

k i was just wonering if the exp is i get as a hunter when killing npc thieves would be the same as a trader killing npc thieves

I can't really remember if traders even get trader experience for killing npc thieves
