snow shield..worth it?

idk if the skill series is worth getting for my pure str bow fire/ice with lightning buffs...should i get it?

Why not? Just get the first book, and use it in emergencies.

Also, if you use larger pots, you can make the buff work. =P

Don't up it though since....50% absorbed to your mana = no mp for skills...20% is ok though.

no, dont get it, its pointless to use it because it wastes sp, and because people will laugh at you in pvp when your stuck whacking someone with your weapon because your mana is always at 0. Even at 20%, your mana will get raped.

I use it on my blader (lvl 65)...it helps. So long as you're not soo poor that you can't buy some larger mp pots. And waste of mp? It costs 80 or 120 sp...that's like......nothing.

get it....i pure str bow...and i got 30%....it thee shit..it almost like havin sosun set...lol...and yeah u should be fine with large mp pot...i have 8.5K mp and i don run of mana...cuz bow skill take awhile to cast away... u will come in handy when u face nuker....i got owned alot b4 i used it..hope that helps....

For pure str, you only need 20%~30%. It really does make a difference. Dont take it any higher. Later on you could add mp+ to your equips, to further increase your mp bar.

actually, for the 80 cap, u can have pacheon/fire/light 80, and cold 60. so if u max everything else, get snowshield up to lvl 60. around 40% absorption.

Get ice to lvl 20 and add it at 20%.

In that tough situation when you just need to tank that little bit of extra damage, its perfect. Or when you need to run away from someone much higher lvl than you it may be the difference between life and death. Remember theres times when you dont need to attack :roll:

Take this situation. Your a lvl 65 pure str bower. Your out thieving and you have 30 seconds left on your bandit return scroll. Then some lvl 80 blader comes along and tires to kill you. He is doing considerable damage to you and your hp is dropping considerably. Attacking him isnt an option as you dont have any stun moves at lvl 65, and you wont kill him due to his higher lvl. Running away isnt an option because he will just kill your caravan. Now, you activate the 1st lvl snow shield, it absorbs 20% of the damage and you survive the attack...barley.

Now tell me, is it really just for intl's?

How about we change it to a lvl where you could only survive whilst using the snow shield. Happy now?

80 blader was simply a random lvl that popped into my head. Frankly the lvl figure doesn't matter. As long as its a lvl where you can only survive with the snow shield. That was the entire point of the situation. If you couldn't see that, your loss.

its more smoother on int chars cuz they got lots of mp h/e str chars still have som mp, and mp pots wont finish fast, trust me on that, i'm lvl 32 glavier and i train on buwangs, my hp auto pot is on 70% n mp on 50%, my mp used to be on 45% (wich is regular) and after i use the snowshield, i still waste more hp pots .... now u saw our replies and you have a brain, USE IT ===_=== #

Snow shield for str = Lvl 1 only (20%)... don't always use it
Snow shield for int = Maxed (50%+)

lvl 54 spear nuker with ice shield i can tank 3 yeti's and kill them before i die and i only have 2.3k hp

nha seriously, blader might use it since they have shield allowing them to ge tlower dmg but bower/glaver will get spanked hard if your not hybrid you wont have any mana AT ALL.
