 Post subject: Chinese char advantage over Euro char?

Because Chinese characters have every skill available to them, and since the Euro classes have either magic or strength skills, it's obvious that it's Chinese > Euro. Especially if your Hybrid Chinese.

From what I've seen while playing Euro, Euro characters do a lot more damage at beginning levels. I'm not sure, but I think that continues into higher levels. At level 24 I can do 1200-1400 with my nukes to mobs just a couple levels lower. I think it will all equal out.

It will all definitely equal out. But it also depends what stats each mob has, you never know right?

Anyway, Euro chars do quests and everything sro involved in "just" euro or can then spread through China as well?

nope euro chars CAN go into jangan and other chinese areas

But Euro characters are also not allowed to just change from Armor to garment, making them more vurneable to Chinese builds. But like you people said, we have to wait and see. :D

no.. u can go grind in CHina as well..and do quests. the only thing is.. they don't drop stuff u wear... so why would u want to do that.. XD

uh... so u think koreans and chinese are one and the same or something? And they'll make the Chinese chars better because of that? I think they'll try to make it as even as they can because they just want to make money by making a good, balanced game. But I dont see why everyone says euro chars must be pure. I mean, if a cleric for example goes pure int to maximize its atk, how does it expect to survive in order to heal everyone in job war? I think adding stamina to int builds is encouraged, but it will decrease ur damage by a lot more in euro than it does in Chinese, because u only have 1 type of atk (phys or mag) on ur wep.

if you have no magical attack, WHY would you add int at all? Why wouldnt you keep that physical balance % as high as possible to maximize your damage?

A cleric would survive in a job war by staying in the safe zone and healing from there. Outside the safe zone it is the group's job to keep the healer alive, just like when training. THe cleric has a nuke that does 900% magical damage for emergencies. I guess if you wanted to be completely dpendent on the ppl around you to kill a single mob or player, you could go hybrid... lol

I cant comment on the 1 vs 1 part, as there are no high lv euro characters yet. The point of the beta-testing in the korean server is to test this out among other things.
And FOS in the current korean version, by no means dictates that it will be exactly like that when we the ISRO version get the FOS. On the way, there could be some major balance or other gameplay changes and probably even more changes after they released the FOS on ISRO.

As for job and guildwars, what stop people from mixing euro and chinese in the party?
Imagine some time in the future in a server on ISRO, where there are just as many fully farmed euro as fully farmed chinese characters, all at the level cap. Which 8 person party will be best? A purely euro, a purely chinese, or a mix of both?
Also take into consideration:
* The different mix of classes that the pure euro party can have
* The nukers\tankers\hybrids mix that the pure chinese party can have
* Or in the eurochinese party, that can have everyone (all euro classes, all chinese built) in.

* Rare equipment (like SOS for the chinese) At the cap and everyone being fully farmed, equipment will be very important.
* Teamwork in each party. This is proven to be a major thing in all the guildwars, jobwars that I've been in, and I'm sure it's true for most other people too. Even with more people, better equipment, you might loose against people with better teamwork.

So in short, we dont no shit for sure. Want to know for sure? Wait and see. But of course I can't stop you from speculating :)

ok so maybe that wasnt the greatest example... but think about a str build. What if a bard used the mp absolute damage on them and they didnt have fast autopot? That would take away 3k of what is at lvl 60 probably 5-6k mp and autopot is 30 secs??? Plz explain that, I'm confused about why pure strength would still be better in that scenario.

The bard giveth and taketh away.. lol A euro without a complete party is useless. So if there is a bard in your party, then you can get MP pretty fast from him.

The cleric also has an absolute damage nuke. The two classes are closely related.

omg I thought it was 60 :( . There goes the last chance of me ever making the cap lol. But at least the gear only goes to 6th degree that makes so that a lvl 60 isnt as bad compared to a lvl 70 :D

And as higher caps open the difference will get bigger and bigger

euro's autpot > euro > chinese .... in GW between eur and chin, chin hav to kill the healers, then the chin nukers gotta work on ranging the tankers from a long distance, own the healers 1st then own ranged euro like xbow

This game isnt a game based on pen and paper. You cant form out situations because there always is the human factor to involve in these kind of situations.

I want to make this clear and simple, NONE IS GREATER THAN THE OTHER!. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses.

let them scorn me, like i said you take the healers they will get a hard time getting healed, eventually they will die, max hp they hav on pure str on lvl cap will be 17k hp or somwer near that, chinses can go up to 23k which are glaviers, ive seen lv 90s on ksro with 23k hp

I was referring to the topic starter and the community in general. We have all these discussions about which is better, when people dont realize they each feed off each other. No single build is dominant in all situations. Bleh. This thread sucks.

Group of 8 lvl 80 Euros :

= Dead Euros


Take out the damage dealers, then cleric then the str based chars. It's so easy...I've seen it happen on Mars already. :o
