Indeed it is. I had a full som set, but it didn't even have half as good blues as yours. You've probably put a lot of effort into that set, and it shows. I would have used it, sell it when you reach 6th degree. No point in spending so much gold on alchemy just to resell it, right?

Plus one to the post above me. You might want to work on the hp blues and some of the int. 450 extra hp (?) makes a big difference when you are an int

The thing is you level out of 5D so fast that buying gear like that isnt necessary. If you plan on keeping it, add more int/str, maybe buy a sos/som spear. a Sos weapon is much more valuable to you than a sos armor set, especially as a nuker, who barely gets hit anyway.

Personally, I would stall it overnight while you're still using it, and if something sells just replace it with normal gear. That way, you'll be ready for 6d and above as soon as you get there.

Then again, if you're Mr. Moneybags, go buy me a SoSun Spear, and I'll give you permission never to worry about your gear ever again

This game shouldn't be just about racing to the cap, and I am glad there is someone who understands that (topic starter). I'll rather level slow and have awesome gear and fun while pvp-ing than level fast. Hell, I even pimped out my gear at second degree.

You don't understand. Nukers level fast. This isnt a debate over class superiority, which is more fun, dadadadada. The fact is that (judging by her spear) she is a nuker, and will level out of her gear fast. Highly upgraded gear isnt needed until higher levels when you're with it longer, and your PvP depends more on it.

I'm happy you had enough money at those levels to upgrade your gear, but not everyone has the ssame playing style as you. I have over 700m saved, and yet my gear up to 7d barely even has stats. Why? Because I am a nuker and I know that I will outlevel it too fast for it to be worth the cost.

As you said its about what playing style you prefer. I guess you are right about the "good gear isn't needed until higher levels". but personally I like to think that the game starts at level 1, not level 80.

The game ends at 80 :p

Some people go to 80 without ever owning sos

You don't need it to lvl, it's just nice. Helps lvling go by faster, but by someoene's own definition, it isn't a race to 80, so why get sox at all?

And your weapon only gets red durability if it's that time of the month for her. It will never break from tablet alchemy.

No. You only stand a risk of getting red durability when using elexir's on the weapon.

i wouldnt pimp it , that would be a waste of money.

i mean low lvls really dont really need extra pimp gears like the 8th deg people do, it good as it is right now.

sell it when ur done using. no point in keeping it unless ur super rich.
dont try to bring int or anything up ur fine.

To everyone who thinks it is a waste to have sos sets at low levels like that, u obviously don't know how to save/make money. I started off using sos in 4D with just enough to buy a sos set and sos spear. Every set up I was able to afford to buy an sos set and an sos spear except for 7D and 8D. 7D I could only afford to buy an sos set with 1 som chest. 8D everyone was overpricing stuff, so I didn't bother.

You make gold by selling and save gold by using less pots. BYAAH!

Nothing wrong with taking your time to lvl up and alchy your equips at any lvl, as long as you are having fun at it.

Add parry and durability to a few of them, otherwise it's a nice set ^^
