Well I used to just sleep in when it rains in the mornings. The sound really is therapeutic.

Actually he wasn't. The Church put it in December to compete with the Pagan Winter Solstice celebrations. If you read the bible, they claim that sheep were out the night of his birth, that among other details, leads us to believe his birth was in the Spring. March-April'ish.

I don't remember exactly why it's in April, but I would assume because in the Bible it only states he died at 33 years old, and would make it exactly 33 years?

What I do remember, is that it's not assigned on a date because of the full moon. Back then, without light pollution, the nights were a lot darker. Having thousands of people come into town can be dangerous. It's set to the first full moon sunday so people could see. It's always the Sunday following the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.

I know this is about favorite months.. But these are my worse month November/December.. Why coz the last 9 years I have worked in retail, September through to December is when the Christmas decorations start coming in.. The end of November is when they start playing Christmas carols.. I hate Christmas decorations coz half them have glitter, believe me glitter gets every where.. Christmas carols for a month, its no fun having jingle bells played 10 times a day.. Then by the time the 25th December comes round I'm sick and tired of Christmas :banghead:

I'm hoping this year will be better, as I don't have to put up with all that crap
