To those who dont know what it is. It's not reducing the defense of the monsters by 1%, but it's the chance of dealing full damage ie defense doesnt involve in formula damage.
So if u deal 70k dmg on Mangyangs, u could deal 70k dmg on Niya General as well.

Don't forget that most peeps are zerking on mangyangs to get max damage. So you would be doing only 35k on a general if you hit 70k zerked on a mangyang, since zerk is about twice as much as regular attacks.

ya i've 1 hit a penon and i'm 42, i was like woah, i forgot my wings had the 1% chance, its nice though having it even if its not a higher chance

most part of your post is correct, except for the mangyang thing.
When i hit a mangyang without zerk with nuke i hit around 35k, but when i hit nachal without defence i hit around 27k so it is lower then hit on mangyang even though they should have same defence

That can't be completly true.

I've yet to hit a Zerk Crit 1%.

but...a zerk Knockdown 1% do 26k damage to Niya Shaman Giants.

I've never wasted time doing a damage test on a myang, but i'm sure that a zerk crit on them would be much higher then 52k damage.

I want to ask if any other people found the same that me. It happen to me at least 3 times hitting over 33k no crit nor zerk on 7x/80 players during jobbing/pvp. If it was just once i could think that I didnt read correctly the damage, but as it happen to me more than once I think that ignore defence isnt applied only to monster, but also to players.


Any other people found the same or I was drunk those times =P?

Same to me. Against a shaman I crit only 44k when, with that skill, I should hit at least 10k more against a mangyang. That atributte ignore most of the defence but not completly or maybe there is balance problem because high level mobs should have higher balances than a mangyang.

well a theif killed me today ,maybe cuz of that ,or maybe cuz he had a sun bow who knows

Yea I like that 1% ignore defense. But I wish it works for PVP/jobbing. But for some reason now, I notice when you about to die or they about to die, you always either critical them or put high damage on the opponent. lol

Umm, the additional stat does state on monsters I beleive. Unless joymax is considering players monsters?

lol if it worked on players me (lvl 44) with zerk could kill a lvl 60+ >.>

Hopefully with the Devil wings, it work on players and monsters and some other better blue stats.

On Mangyang u always deal max dmg, i believe, because of the attac rating. If u hit 27k it's because u took the lowest part of dmg range.

now that u mention that i have hit Yacha with ghost spear mars for 20k but is NOT a crit. and i don't have wings also

niya shamans have much higher parry ration thats it..

it does that to me sometimes but i think it is a crit but it does not show the critical under the numbers

I've had it happen a few times myself. I was messing around and went purple on a guildmate. He's a level 71 glaiver and I knocked him down....my second stab did 14k to him and I got murder status >.>

There's a problem with some heuksal skills where it does a crit, but doesn't display the word under the dmg.

That's not entirely accurate... It's not absolute damage, rather just penetrating the monster as if it doesn't have any pdef/mdef. (Still depends on the monster's level, it's parry ratio, etc...)

Hmm, it says "CREATURE", maybe players included... But it's 1% as in 1 in 100 chance of hitting it... LoL!
