More bandwidth = more botters

It aint a solution.

Having channels like in other games would have been great, but its too late now. They would probably have to reset all data just to implement channels I guess.

no matter how we want sro to be, it wont happen.. expand capacity=less traffic, less traffic=less premium ticket buyer, less premium ticket buyer=less income for joymax, less income=cannot satisfy the greed of the company:) so i personally dont thinnk expanding capacity of each server will ahppen. on the other hand, opening up a new server is a totally different case:) joymax earn a lot everytime they open a new server.. not only new players will join the new server but old players will too... they buy silk n stuff to lvl fast ^^

conclusion, joymax is a business company.. profit is wad they r looking for... ^_^

New servers + More bandwidth = more easier time signing on.

Or, New servers + More bandwidth = more bots signing on = doesn't make a big difference.

If you get more server slots, you will need more and faster bandwidth so people don't lag to hell.

And i think the question should be FASTER bandwidth or new servers, because more doesn't mean faster, faster means faster, theres a difference from 10mbit and 100mbit :)

The map isnt even DESIGNED for 3000 people -__- no wonder people KS each other.
When i played 2moons and got KSed and/or bullied by high lvl retards i'd just switch to another server instead of dealing with morons.
Making 3 channels per server with only 1000 slots on each channel will be great.
But of course when there are so many f**king bots, this idea is useless since every channel will have 900 bots and 100 players. -___-;

Would u rather have 100 server 100/100 capacity or 1 server 10000/10000 capacity?

Are you serious.. this is why the servers are full. I do not know why they keep making servers when one is full. You increase the capacity.

Joymax should put a limit on each server, account-wise.

X amount of acounts have made a char on server A --> no new accounts are allowed to make a char on server A. But they can make one on server B. To prevent people from taking all server slots, you can only make characters on 3-5 ... x servers with one account. So people who made characters on server A can always connect to server A because no new accounts(read new connections) are allowed.

This would also mean a clean up of inactive accounts/illegal accounts. --> more maintenance --> less income --> bad idea from joymax point of view, but hey at least i'm trying ....

There are low-tech solutions.

1.) In-game GMs paying attention to the game and banning bots. I can stand in DW and count 100-200 bots in an hour. They follow exactly the same paths and repeat them over and over again. If I can do it, why can't a JoyMax employee? I've submitted several of these gold bots to the bug report for 5 months and they're still running. If these slot-taking bots were removed there would be less strain on the servers and the bandwidth and there would be no need for new servers every month.

2.) Stop buying gold. I just wish players would get it through their heads that EVERY TIME THEY BUY GOLD THEY'RE MAKING THE PROBLEMS WORSE. The GMs probably figure there's no point in working so hard to remove the goldbots when all the SRO players want their cheap and quick gold in 10 minutes so they can buy awesome pants.

making more servers wont improve gameplay on current server cuz everyone stays on their own server

Neither of those actions are necessary if they just ban bots.
