A private server where you were literally handed lvl 100+ characters with full sun +x weapons would be boring. It would be lame and stupid. But, a private server where you still dealt with lvling and finding shit like sun on the ground, and without the bots, would be like a heaven to most. >.> Too bad it would be boring too.

who says were gona go handing out sun to everyone? its going to be an exel server, faster rates but not too stupidly fast. if all goes well, we'll be making a private server for pvp, everyone starts as lvl 80 with 1mill sp and full NPC items, the more rounds of pvp you win , the more money you make to buy sos,som,sosun in the npc shops !!! good idea? come and comment on our forum ^^

No way sro ps devs would implement such a useless feature, when the core components of the server files are so young in development themselves. You wouldn't be able to keep track of such statistics yourself, and if you could, then your server would have too few people.

1st off, you know as much as we do. so dont presume were not upto the task, let me ask you somthing , your at dw south gate pvping, and a random lvl 80 keeps on pwning you, annoying huh? we could make a pvp server, basicly just multi client it were there are ready made accounts which can be requested from us, to pvp and have FUN, you understand this word?

BTW ksro DOES have a server like u mentioned .

-start at whatever lv u like , 1m sp
-all stuff u want
-huge job , pvp warz

and its not dumb , its for build testing purposes & fun .
so u actually know what char u wanna build in the normal server .

i think a private survar with drop/exp rate almost like in JM sro will be great,and a system for a free silk stuff,but not like 5k silk per day,sumthin like every 10lvl u get 100silk or jobing for silk,no1 wanna play in a servers full with bots but same for a server like 1 day playing=max lvl

A private server with exact same XP rates would be so damn boring. Keep playing regular one if you really enjoy griding a whole year for 80 that much.

Just a warning to ppl.

Don't use same info as on this forum to register.
Especially don't use anything close that you use to register in sro.
Don't use same email as here or in sro.

To put up a forum like that takes about 1 hour , to steal logins ..

Internet explorer has it's security holes from where a site can set
trojans and keylogers if no antivirus and firewall is installed.

ps.:
Private server development: all skill and item and monster database is missing. it may never be completed.
Damage and defence calculation is: no one is sure yet how it is done, so no
way to implement it.

Even if private servers go up they die after a short time since server hosting cost money.

Private servers go up collect donations then they close it and just reopen a new
on different name to collect more.

ps.2:
Compiled my own l2j emu from source code, set up l2j server in 30min
Got and set up the official c1 lineage2 servers in a day.
And that is just for local testing, for fun.

ps.3:Played on some big l2 private server watched them die and get forget before starting silkroad.
So don't even get your hopes up with silkroad private servers.
