Many people say that is impossible to fail +1 with lucky but is possible without lucky powder. In my case Ive failed once +1 WITH lucky even when is considered impossible (YES, Im sure that I use it. NO, it didnt happen again).

what will happen if it fails? it just wont change to +1 or is it possible that the item disapears? i want to +2 or +3 a SoM item but if theres a chance that the items breaks then i wont do it.

if you fail 1->2 you get it +0
if you fail 2->3 you get it +0

+1 to +4 is totally safe. No item destruction. No durability reduce

+5 to +9< isn't, with the chance of both happening increasing as the lvl of enchantment gets higher.

btw. Never had +1 fail with lucky powder ever.

Your wrong. I have failed a few times with lucky powder. I'f i had my old cursed blade i would log on and try to re create the result.
