Who has seen it?
I watched it the day it came out and last night. I love the movie. I think it did the game justice haha.
What did you think of it?

On G4 they were talking about them reediting the movie so that it got the rating pg-13, that was a few weeks before the movie was to come out, thank god they didn't do that lol. i mean if you're making a movie called "hitman" nothing less than an R. I'd also like to know how this movie is.

It's amazing, there's a lot of action, it's got quite a bit of humor in it too. I was a little depressed he didn't use piano wire though. :(
If you like the game I'm like 95% sure you'll like the movie.

I went to go see it on Friday night. I liked it, one of the better moves I've seen recently. Even though I liked it. It was just a very well done action movie that looked sexy. Other than that, there was nothing special about it.

Oh and Nikova...or whatever the chicks name was. What exactly was the point in her being in the movie apart from her showing her boobs and her bum. She didn't add anything to the plot, just a little something to the horny members of the audience.

i saw a trailer where 47 was talking to a girl about himself... thats just not something he would do, put me off the film instantly. Of course, if they made it exactly like the games it would probably get boring. Thats why they should of just left it alone altogether. :banghead:

Im still gonna watch it but my expectations are very low.

Edit.... he dosnt even have the same backstory in the film...

Ok, it might turn out to be a good film in its own rights but it just isnt hitman...

If you played the Hitman videogames, more then likely you will enjoy the movie, if you did not, then you'll be left more dissapointed (confused for some) then satisfied. The movie was originally designed as a vehicle for Vin Diesel, although he retained as an executive producer credit, even he walked away from the project. Timothy Olyphant plays Number 47, an assassin who believes has fulfilled his duties by assassinating the Russian President, only to be lead to false truths and betrayal. The Russian Hooker "Nika" Seemed to be more of a filler in the film then anything else. Serving no real importance in the movie, other then the occasional topless scene, even then hardly keeps your attention. At moments there were some good laughs as 47 tried incorporating humor into his emotional lacking character. Timothy had the image, but I felt his acting was under par. All in all if you have played the games, I would give it a shot. Slight humor and well choreographed fight scenes kept my attention. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 if I had to give it a rating.

I'm critical about my movies, obviously =P

@Holistir
I haven't ever played the games, and at no point was I ever confused. Nor were the 2 of my friends I was watching it with.

The friends I went with didn't play the video games, and they felt a little confused about a few things. People are different, some grasp the concept where others do not. I grew up playing the games with my cousin, even I was slightly confused at parts, but overall it became a little more clear at the end.

Beowulf to me looked more like a milestone in CG graphics. That beezy on the commercial looked JUST like Angelina Jolie, plus I didn't know the people were also CG until I really looked at it.

It pretty much speaks for itself. http://www.hollywood.com/review/Beowulf/4990447

There's a review on it if you want a movie critics point of view.
