 Post subject: alchemy and high +'s

i see alot of people saying they try for +9. fail and lose the item.

can i assume they just didn't have immortal on it? or does immortal only work for a certain amount of +?

if i have immortal and astral, when i fail it should go back to +4 right?



also for lucky, does lucky only work once or does lucky 6/6 work 6 times as effectively as lucky 1/6? id really like to know that about lucky

Immortal is for +4 & above so if you fail to +5 the item won't break, cause wpns / amour / acc's break after that
As for Astral that's for saving it to +4 instead of +0 again

Lucky is used once everytime you try + so 6 lucky means you have it 6 times

as far as i know, immortal works with any amount of +

as far as i know, each lucky slightly increases your luck, but its still luck
based. that means that you can pump as many luck into your item as you want,
but there will always be a chance on failing.

aye but 6/6 lucky has a better chance of success than 1/6 lucky?

i think this makes sense since there is a chance that all of the lucky will go away, so it should make sense that the higher lucky there is, the better the chance. im not sure though :/

Nope, 1/1 6/6 5/5 doesn't matter, cause each 1 means you have ONE lucky stat & when you use it, it goes down to 5/5 from 6/6 even if you failed to + whatever your trying to +

So having a lucky powder + lucky on the wpn you'd think you'd have better chance in success but ima not sure :P

just a little correction. immortal works for all +'s.
ITs astral that works only after +4
