can sum1 post how to do it then? step by step please
Ok, ill TRY to elaborate this process.
Open pk2 extractor and find characterdata.txt in server_dep\silkroad\textdate and extract it (MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS AND Media.pk2!!) Now find the .bsr file your looking for (eg. I want to change my horse to Uruchi's dragon) so I should find the horse .bsr file that im gonna replace, for TG's Tiger, its mob\china\bluetiger.bsr and for uruchis dragon its mob\oasis\uruchidragon.bsr, I replace the horse .bsr with any of those, the file will now be bigger in terms of bytes, so like in the sticky, do that method of making space (replacing high lvl euro merc ddj's with horse ddj's) and finally saving that file. Now I open up characterdata.txt in HexEdit121 (download from sticky) and add null bytes (scroll down to bottom of .txt and adding 00's) until the modded file size matches the original file size (open a 2nd HexEdit121 and open the backup, this is your "original" determine the byte size), then save that .txt again and then press edit "Select all" and press "copy", now open Media.pk2, find the start of characterdata.txt (code is in sticky) and finally paste your modded .txt over that and save and test.
I was in a hurry so sorry if its kinda sloppy but its better than no help
EDIT: I found the SIMPLEST way to mod your horse
Open XVI32, search for cos\c_horseX.bsr (X= type of horse, so dragon horse is 3, shadow is 2, ironclad is 4 etc.) and then replace with mob\china\bluetiger.bsr for the Tiger and mob\oasis\uruchidragon.bsr for Uruchis dragon, and BTW make sure its cos\c_horseX not that chinaetc thing thats gonna screw up your client
EDIT2: Be careful, editing your mount has a nasty habit of d/c every once in a while... So its best to mod a trade trans because if you d/c you will log on with the trans alive packed with goods
