I reached level 40!!!

Yes, after 1.2 years of grinding, I have finally reached my semi goal of being level 40.

Now I'm ready to kick ass and chew bubble gum.

EDIT: Yes, the title may be misleading

and the laziest grinder of all time award goes to..........

1.2 years tolvl 40 holy cow
it only took me 3 months to 64

Gratz and ^^ most ppl dont have 3hrs a day 2 spare for a game

its funny how you can get to lvl 40 in like 8 hours now.

Psh, they don't know the true meaning of grinding then!

congrats... but... i think you dont know what the true meaning of grinding is.. did you use any sp? 9 gap the whole way?

Lol, no I just had many hiatuses a long the way.

And I did not use any gold tickets or whatever.

Congrats dude, my first character was hard to lvl up too, it took me like 5 months to reach 42... weird thing is, I quit and when I came back I managed to grind a lot and lvl up pretty damn fast too o.o

Woop... 1.2 year for lvl40. another 3 years for 80. then u'll quit

gratz and EVERYTHING is ok, as far as you've had a fun for 1.2 year even with lv40

Lol I've been playing for a year now and still haven't made it past 32 with a Chinese character.

Its a major problem for most people.

Its not a matter of not having time to grind, people just either

a. get bored easily and change characters
b. quit and when they come back start again
c. change servers due to reasons involving friends etc
d. Decide to make a lot of characters to test out different build and see which one they will pursue in the future.

Gratz on hitting lvl 40 as well and best luck to you in the future.

my problem is A

i have like 12 lvl 20+ chars in 8 diffrent servers it sucks kinda i get bored of chars very easily i hate it my highest is a 43 blader and that is slow as hell to grind the one im on right now is a 33 hybrid spear and a 29 warlock/cleric (kinda bored of the warlock allready )

I haven't been able to get to lvl 40 with any chinese char :|

And I'm a mix between a and d <.<

If your problem is a then you need to find your motivation to play the game. This game can be very fun but each person is going to have their own experiences and own reasons to play.

The only advice i can offer to someone in your kind of situation is to find yourself a good union or guild. Sure friends aren't something you can "buy" in this game, but for me they have become a major motivation to play the game. I am currently playing on 2 servers. 1 of the servers is my old "main" server, in it i have an awesome guild and a great union in which i have a lot of great friends. They are the reason i continue to play this game, to talk to them and just have some fun with them.

The other server i only recently moved to. I moved there because my best in game friend decided to move their as well, his reasons behind his decision are not relevant. I had decided to follow him in his server change as i really do enjoy playing with him, he is my original motivation to continue playing sro.

But this kind of thing might not be the answer for you. If not, then i wish you the best of luck finding your motivation to play the game. If not, remember that everything isn't about what level you do achieve.

took me 1.8 years to get to 40

by my estimates based on the current exp growth rate... lvl 150 will be impossible to get to in a human lifetime.

I don't understand how some of you claim you've been playing for over a year and just barely make level 40.

That makes no sense to me.

During 60 Cap there was no item mall, no Gold Ticket.

Aege server opened around end of October. By December Aege had a level 56 Ice Blader, who was for sure Legit, Voodoo.

By end of January Aege had a LeveL 60 Glaive, Fully Farmed.
Fujishiro had 60 Heuksal, 60 Ice, 60 Fire, and 60 Light.

Now Fujishiro played hardcore everyday, insane hours. But if you can get from 1-60 in 4 months and be fully farmed.

I don't understand how it takes anyone a year to get to level 40.

Even if you grinded only 2-3 hours a day, in 1 year you would be around level 70.

but what if they ground for 2-4 hours a week?

During 60cap you could easilly connect to the servers and grind without bots. Now, it's pure pain to grind surrounded and beying ks'd by bots. Now this game just killing player morally (or w/e you speel that)

congratz dude. I've been playing for a year and my main is only lvl 43 lol (of course I semi-farmed and gapped leveled). I also had many, many hiatuses. Even when I was playing hardcore most of the time I was goofing off or trying to make money.

server traffic sure make differences.
