ya basicly,

combustion is a waste anyways it doesn't effect enough to be worth it

fear takes as long as a nuke and can fail, if it hits you got a good chance to win if not almost garunteed
how ever in that time you could have fire nuked and finished with a earth nuke, to incase they were still alive, and the nukes don't fail, unless they block it

The only combo I've seen goes like.

Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe>Invisible>Nuke(1 hit <.<)>Run back to safe.

yes i admit to doing invisible hit and runs but i ran with some dignity, i always ran further out of town so i could be chased if you wanted to get me

lol combustion is god like are you crazy.. here is a story of "Combustion"

I was being cocky south gate like I'm always is, lv80 Wizard does TurnOver i use my manashield thinking yea she is done for...bang..she does fear so i couldn't attack so...I was thinking ok..i'll just "let" her nuke me I can tank her nukes until fear is out with mana shield...'bang" COMBUSTION, MY MP STARTED TO DROP....meteor hits.....BOOM! combustion lower my mp enough so that the meteor took all my mp o_0 the earth nuke hit me killing me no mp to reduce the damage game over. Combustion adds 4 sec delay to mp potions...the moral of the story is even a "skill that is a waste" can own if you know how to use...after this fight Combustion earn my repsect.

not really combustion works sooooo well against str build with high % snow shield...my wizzy friend proved so many times :)

I dont think fear and bind might be used as often as some people might think cause its just a matter of 1 hitting or getting farked up so why not just casting the nukes right away after invis? if someone went wiz they should realize they are in it for 1/2 hitting others the chances of wiz sticking around and pvping normally like glaivers or bowers sux..the real joy for wiz is 1337 damage numbers and being a pro in using the correct skills in the correct time =P..but for standard old fashion downhang pvp 1/2 nukes get the job done..imo.

Of course i've never had any high lvl fully farmed wizs so those are the real ones that can talk about this.

didn't know combustion added the pot delay, but after trying it out some i just found it a better use of time to kill as fast as i could rather then risk getting hit, while weakening my opponent, but it was like the drain wasn't worth using if i could kill them just as fast as it would take to piss them off

If someone uses fear to you, use ice frost skill book 2
the one that you don't need to select anyone :wink:
think of that :roll:

also doesn't euro have 5 sec delay at pills?
use all 3 books of ice freezing and all of the euro would be dead for sure :)

Pot delay doesnt apply to universal pills.

Also cleric sub fixes the ice problem

Also silo, add this to yuor equation

"holy word + bless + moving speed pot"

With those 3 things, wizard can tank for 45 secs, move fast + teleport, be immune to freezing etc.

With that set up, pretty much a wizard is one of the dominant 1v1 pvp builds. It does have 1 weakness though. If a wizard uses bless than life force, they have like 4.5k hp.? If someone casts some absolute damage moves, bless is canceled out is it not as its "absolute damage"? Haven't tried it myself but it seems like the only logical way to take out a wizard.

Don't use bind <.< if you waste time using that instead of nuking your enemy he can still use flying dragon/the long ranged sword skills/bow attacks/nukes on you when fear runs out -.-

tbh what I've seen.. most glaives don't think too quick. They keep trying to spam mars or sss. Nukers well.. nuke. no point in binding them. Same with archers.

I've seen bind being used at the wrong times(Against nukers and archers.. rofl genius. Glaive isn't a big deal since you save yourself from a lot of dmg) and the people getting binded(over and over.. and yet to learn how to attk with it)

binding str people is good

even if they have range attack, they only have 1 or 2 of them... much better than being hit every turn with high damage

....after the first nuke the oponent is out of fear status....After the first nuke, bind is disabled....combustion only against snow shield.

Combustion lowers the mp by half, and also does mp drain but it's very limited drain. Lowering mp by half and the extra pot delay is only an effect from mana drought (lvl 76).
